    Hack Security Camera Control Box: Trace the cable from the camera or look for a flashing green light. The hacking minigame is explained in Section 03h. You don't need to return to your safehouse immediately after hacking; you can save multiple busts for later.

    Identify Drug Supplier: Return to a safehouse and use the monitor. Regions with "triad activity" (hacked drug busts not yet completed) will be highlighted. Select one, zoom in, and find the supplier (often the most animated or isolated person). Keep the cursor on them and press X to mark them for arrest.
  • Clearing thugs from a hangout: Face XP and HK$2,000.
  • Successfully arresting a supplier: Substantial Cop XP and a HK$10,000 cash bonus.
Tips
  • Cop XP Boost: Wear a matching set of three garments with Police Constable Bonus (+5%), Police Sergeant Bonus (+10%), or Police Inspector Bonus (+15%) for increased Cop XP gain. These clothes are available at Face Levels 2, 4, and 6.
  • Strategic Busts: Unless you need Cop upgrades quickly or want a cleaner map, consider leaving drug busts until later in the game to maximize the benefit of clothing buffs.

Drug Bust Locations:

North Point

  • Lok Fu Park (north-west): Required for the Popstar case.
  • Lu Mei Alley (north-west): East of Lok Fu Park. Features a dumpster for environmental kills.
  • Kan Chuk Overpass (northern): Down the road from Lu Mei Alley, near a pedestrian footbridge. A tyre iron is available by the bikes. The box is on the east side of the bridge at ground level.
  • Foo Long Overpass (west): Another footbridge. Trace the orange cable; go up three flights of stairs and hop the wall to the west. A LOCKBOX collectible is south after hacking.
  • Yau Ling Courts (southern): Ten thugs to defeat, with crowbars, tyre irons, and batons available. The box is on the west wall.
  • Denlau Alley (south-east): One block east of Yau Ling Courts. The camera is on a large column, and the box is east of the chainlink fencing. A LOCKBOX is north-east towards the freeway.

Central

  • Sui Shan Alley (south-east): Watch out for knife users. The box is near the camera on the wall.
  • Wah Fi Storage (east): Features knives and cleavers in an underground parking lot. The box is in the north-east corner. A LOCKBOX is on the south-east side.
  • Wang Fu Parking (south Soho): Open lot at a T-junction opposite K-Bar. The box is on the left of the road to the north.
  • Tsim Shan Shan Alley (north Soho): Close to Wang Fu Parking. Features knife users. The box is on the east wall.
  • Dr Mong Memorial Overpass (south Central): Wide alley with knife users. The box is west down the alley. A LOCKBOX is by the north garage doors.
  • Central Sewerage Outpoint (north-east): Access via the quayside. These busts are shootouts due to the presence of firearms. Use cover and the minimap to intercept flanking enemies. The box is on the east wall of the north room in the tunnel.

Kennedy Town

  • Wong's Parking (north-west): Twenty thugs to defeat. The box is on the north wall. The supplier is behind a car at the safehouse.
  • Sun Yat Housing Complex (north-east): Outdoor shootout. Approach from the north steps, enter cover [L1], grab the pistol [R1]. Police may arrive mid-fight. The box is located after this encounter.
