Complete Sleeping Dogs Part 72 walkthrough covering Bomb Threat missions, favours, and jobs like Protect the Lion Dancer and Bomb in the Bay.

Intel: Apocalyptic Cults

You will now have access to three Bomb Threat missions back in Central, which can be done in any order, and two favours nearby in Kennedy Town.

PROTECT THE LION DANCER (favour)

• Speak to the guy next to the stage in north Kennedy.
• Arrest or subdue the offenders.
• Speak to the guy again to complete the favour.

DELIVERY BOY (favour)

• Speak to the man on the steps in west Kennedy.
• Deliver the payment to the Pork Bun Guy around the corner.

BOMB THREAT: SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES (mission)

Wei deals with a series of bomb threats over the next three missions.

• Head over to the waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) near the hospital in south-east Central.
• An EVIDENCE BAG is in the south-east corner of the hospital foyer.
• Check the cars in the parking lot by pressing Triangle to try the doors.
• Pursue the cultists' car on the police motorcycle, maintaining speed and using the sat-nav route on the minimap (in-game map) if necessary.
• Perform an action hijack on the target vehicle by holding X and tapping X.
• Dump the car in the ocean before it explodes. If you restart from the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death), you are given a generous timer.

BOMB THREAT: POI (mission) (POI = "Person of Interest")

• Go to the marker near Government House in Central.
• Find the bomber at the payphones and give chase through the traffic.
• Run away.

BOMB THREAT: SHOPPING CENTER (mission)

• Drive to the mall in east Central.
• Arrest or defeat the group of cultists. You can use the Dragon Kick machine to heal during the fight if you want.
• Run quickly through the underground parking lot opposite to the bomb squad.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE (job) "Bomb in the Bay"

• Investigate the car in east Central.
• Jack the car and dump it in the ocean. You do not get a waypoint now, so you need to find a coastal spot without a railing. You can bail from the vehicle before or after it lands in the water, but if you bail after, you'll need to swim away from the blast. Do not worry if you fail one of these jobs as they respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) fairly quickly in the same place.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE (job) "Bombs Away"

• Find the truck under the footbridge in west Central.
• Drive it into the ocean. For this one, head to north-west Central; the big red gateway north of the park has a path heading straight to the coast.

TRANSIT SECURITY (mission)

More bombs - this time on the buses.

• Head to the business district crime scene.
• Talk to the indicated officer.
• Take the police car (the one with the blue marker). Use the siren as suggested to cut through the downtown traffic.
• Find the first bus and defuse the bomb at the rear using the hacking interface.
• Find the second bus and defuse the bomb at the rear.
• Drive down to the bus depot in north-east North Point.
• Look for "clues" like an obvious bunch of cultists behind a bus.
• Chase them and arrest or defeat them and their friends.

Intel: None

CEASE OPERATIONS (mission)

There's something fishy going on at the seafood warehouse.

• Drive to the fishmarket waypoint under the bridge to Aberdeen Island. The entrance is inside the porch on the right side.
• Look for "clues" again, such as more obvious cultists in brightly-coloured pyjamas. An EVIDENCE BAG is in one of the far corners on the south side.
• Arrest or defeat the cultists.
• Continue through the warehouse, passing through three doors. You'll need to lockpick the third one.
• Arrest or defeat another group of cultists then lockpick another door.
• Arrest or defeat another group.
• Grab the bomb-maker in the next room and take him outside.
• Bundle him into the trunk of a civilian car and drive to Kennedy Town.
• Evade or defeat the pursuing vehicles; you magically have a pistol again. The quickest way to aim behind while driving is to hold the right stick down to look behind and then press L1 to start aiming.

Intel: Wu Ping Incident

HELP THE ROOKIE (favour)

• Find the officer on the stairs in east Kennedy Town.
• Run after him and defeat the group of thugs.

LUCKY MONEY (favour)

• Visit the spa in central Kennedy.
• Take the alley north-east to the elevated seating area and defeat the thugs. An EVIDENCE BAG is at the far southern end.
• Return the money to the shopkeeper.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE (job) - "Bomb Be Gone"

• Check out the Enterprise saloon in the south Kennedy parking lot.
• Drive it into the ocean. If you head to the prominent Kennedy Pier building in south-west Kennedy Town, you'll find a handy ramp off the harbour behind it.

PARK PATROL (job)

• Get over to the small park in north Kennedy.
• Chase down the mugger and eventually defeat him and his buddies.

KNOWN CULTIST HIDEOUT (job) - "Cultish Ambush"

• Drive down to the cemetery south of Kennedy Town.
• Arrest or defeat the cultists inside the main building. Continue through the building, up all the stairs, and you'll find an EVIDENCE BAG next to a small fountain on the left.
