Hey there! So, you've been playing Sonic Adventure and are wondering about unlocking E-102Y and Amy? Great news! If you've been following along, you should now have access to play as both of them. Let's get you up to speed on how that happens, and what you can expect.

The story kinda picks up back in Station Square. Tails spots Eggman flying around, complaining about Sonic yet again. But then, Eggman remembers he's got a missile aimed at Station Square! He fires it off, but surprise, surprise – it's a dud. Eggman decides he needs to go grab it and figure out what went wrong. Tails, realizing Station Square is on the line, knows he has to get to that missile before Eggman does. This chase leads him straight into the Speed Highway stage.

Once Tails catches up to the missile, Eggman, in a fit of rage, unleashes this massive machine called the Egg Walker. He tells Tails to bail before he gets flattened, but Tails isn't having it. He decides to fight!

Boss Battle: Egg Walker

This fight is rated Medium difficulty and takes about 5 hits to defeat.

Here's the game plan: You want to run right under the Egg Walker and just hang out there. Keep an eye on its feet – when one stomps down, you'll need to jump to dodge the sonic waves it sends out. Right after that, hit the foot with Tails' tail attack. This should make the Egg Walker tip over, giving you a chance to attack the cockpit. As the fight goes on, you'll notice you might need to hit more than one foot to get it to fall over. Stick with it, and you'll take him down!

After that victory, Tails is pretty proud of himself for beating Eggman solo. He then heads off to the Mystic Ruins. If you keep playing, you'll find Sonic there, and they'll team up. This is how you'll eventually get access to play as E-102Y and Amy, continuing their own unique stories within the game!
