    Start to Checkpoint 1: Go forward, avoiding obstacles, then hit the dash pad and run up the path to checkpoint 1.

    Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2: Use a homing attack to destroy laser-shooting enemies. Run down the path to a room, go right, and hit the spring on the wall to land in front of checkpoint 2.

    Checkpoint 2 to Checkpoint 3: Jump from conveyor belt to conveyor belt until you reach a big spinning cylinder. Continue through more cylinders until you reach a new area. Jump to the other side using platforms and robots, then run down the passageway to checkpoint 3.

    Checkpoint 3 to Checkpoint 4: Hit the spring, then jump from platform to platform to another hallway. Run down it and step on the switch in the middle of the room. Stay on the rising platform, then use floating platforms to reach an elevator. Take it, then run down the path to checkpoint 4.

    Checkpoint 4 to Checkpoint 5: Go down the gigantic steps and onto the platform. Carefully jump down from platform to platform until you reach the final platform. Jump onto the mesh circulator platform, enter the elevator in the center. At the bottom, go straight forward down the hallway to a room full of crabs. Go to the upper-right corner and climb the ladder. Jump over spikes and run right to get to checkpoint 5.

    Checkpoint 5 to Checkpoint 6: Use fans to get through the next room. Turn left to another fan room, go through it, then forward to the last fan room. In the next room with crabs, go to the opposite side, hit the dash pad, and run along the path to checkpoint 6.

    Checkpoint 6 to Checkpoint 7: Go forward to a room where you fall. At the bottom, use fans to get to the next hallway. At the end, you'll emerge in another room full of crabs. Head to Sonic's right and enter the sliding door. Run straight ahead to checkpoint 7.

    Checkpoint 7 to Checkpoint 8: Go to the right and run down the path to checkpoint 8.

    Checkpoint 8 to End: Run up the steps. In the next room, go right and use a Light Speed Dash to cross the gap using rings. This is the end.
