This stage is pretty short, usually under a minute, and doesn't really have one specific gimmick. It mostly uses the bouncy ice sheets you've probably seen before, which act like Springs when you hit them from above or the side. There's also a half-pipe that'll have you sliding back and forth. If you're feeling fancy, you can pull off some Trick Actions while in the air from the half-pipe, or use a Humming Top or Jump Step to skip parts of it. Keep an eye out for obstacles like ice cubes – you can break these with a Spin Jump or Axel Jump, or even a Super Boost or Fire Boost if you've got it. The big one to watch out for is the avalanche that chases you for a bit. Don't get caught by it, or you'll lose a life! Here's the general flow: follow the path, use the ice sheets to get to ledges, and keep going up. You'll have options sometimes, like using a Grind Rail above or sticking to the lower path with more ice sheets. Eventually, you'll reach a cliff you need to scale using those bouncy ice sheets. Once you're at the top, outrun that avalanche! After that, you'll navigate some gimmicks and enemy-filled ledges before finally spotting that treasure chest. Easy peasy, right?
