  1. 1
From the start, grab rings, use a dash pad, and run up the hill.
  2. 2
Hit a spring, enter the next room, touch another spring, and jump across icicles to the other side.
  3. 3
Continue, hit a spring, go through the doorway, grab the rocket, and proceed down the hallway to Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) #1.
  4. 4
From Checkpoint #1, fall to the bottom of the cave.
  5. 5
Hit a spring, and while avoiding spikes, touch the next spring.
  6. 6
Go across a path of icicles, then go up to the next spring.
  7. 7
Continue, and when you see rings forming an arrow, use the homing attack (a special move that targets enemies or objects) to reach the other side.
  8. 8
Hit a dash pad, go across another path of icicles, touch a spring, and guide yourself to the next platform.
  9. 9
Touch a button, then quickly run across the appearing path to reach the second checkpoint.
  10. 10
From Checkpoint #2, run up the path, step on a boost pad, and continue to a "1" pad.
  11. 11
Jump on four pads total until you are back on firm ground.
  12. 12
A gigantic icicle will fall; go across it and down the hallway until you reach the snowboarding section of the level.
  13. 13
Simply snowboard down until you come to the Chaos Emerald.
Tips
  • Use springs to gain height and cross gaps.
  • The homing attack is useful for crossing large distances when indicated by ring formations.
