#16 Blooper-surfing: Available only in Episode 2. While surfing on your Blooper, before the bonus stage entrance, jump for a blue coin in front of the pipe.

#17 On the girders (1): From the black boat's chimney, face the climbable wall. To the left, on a small section of girders, find two gold coins and one blue coin. Hover over to it.

#18 On the girders (2): From the black boat's chimney, face the climbable wall. Spin jump and hover to the top of the girders. Jump onto the girders and head towards the blue coin, avoiding three Gustys and possibly a Blooper. Dive (B) repeatedly to reach it quickly.

#19 Falling off a girder: On the marketplace roof closest to Ricco Tower, cross the sideways ladder to the girders. Follow the path: Straight, right, jump to the higher level, straight (over the crane), straight, hover around the support beam, and straight. Walk slowly off the edge to grab onto a vertical line of gold coins and a blue coin. Press B to slide down the wall and collect the blue coin.

#20 The caged... Blooper?: Available only in Episodes 4-8. A Blooper is located where the shine was in Episode 3. Beat it for a blue coin. You can reach it by jumping off the crane near the bottom of the cage and hovering below it to grab the bottom and flip inside, or by navigating the maze.

#21 The fountain: In the freight area/marketplace, backflip and hover above the fountain to get a blue coin.

#22 M on a building: In the marketplace/freight area, wash the 'M' off the building between the fruit tanks and the fountain for a blue coin.

#23 M on a wall near a building: In the marketplace/freight area, wash the 'M' off the wall behind the building that is one past the one next to the fruit tanks for a blue coin.

#24 The fish buckets: Available only in Episodes 7 & 8. Go to the stands in the marketplace and spray the two buckets with big fish in them for a blue coin.

#25 M on a steel platform: Find an 'M' on one of the steel platforms in Episode 8. Use the Rocket Nozzle by launching from the ocean near the lowest platform and then rocketing to subsequent platforms, including the one with the 'M'. Alternatively, use the Hover Nozzle by navigating ledges along the wall to reach the platforms. Spray the 'M' for a blue coin.

#26 M on a distant ledge: An 'M' is on the ledge behind the one with the coconut tree near the steel platforms. Use the Hover/Rocket Nozzle, or, in Episode 8, have Chuckster on the adjacent platform throw you over. Wash the 'M' off for a blue coin.

#27 Blue butterfly: In the marketplace, give Yoshi a Durian. Have him eat all the blue butterflies for a blue coin.

#28 Tasty spider: Take Yoshi to the base of Ricco Tower and have him eat the spider on the wall for a blue coin.

#29 X (1): At the base of Ricco Tower, wash off the 'X' on the tower to reveal a blue coin in the marketplace/freight area. Enter the sewers, spray water ahead, slide into the 'X', and take the last exit (straight) to reach the coin.

#30 X (2): Wash off the 'X' from #29 to reveal a blue coin on Ricco Tower. Spray the 'X' from a distance, run towards the coin, spray water ahead, slide into it, slide to the white edge of the marketplace/freight area, and perform a jump/slide to reach the coin.

Gelato Beach - Episode 1: Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret: This episode begins on Gelato Beach. Cataquacks are enemies that launch you into the sky (blue ones are harmless, red ones are harmful). Dune Buds create shapes in the sand when watered.
