Walkthrough: 100 Coins for a Shine Sprite

1. Pick Episode 8 of Bianco Hills, as it has the most coins.
2. Collect 100 coins to make a Shine Sprite appear.
3. -27: Pokeys: Find nine small pokeys in windmill village. Jumping on one gives 1 coin. Spraying them pushes them back and yields 3 coins if sprayed into a wall. Be careful not to spray coins into walls.
4. -44: Flower Circles: Locate three circles of flowers in windmill village. Spraying them all in a row quickly, especially with a spinning spray (rotate stick and press R), yields coins.
5. -45: Blue Pokey: In the lake area, spray a blue small pokey on the ground and then jump on it for 1 coin.
6. -54: Treetop Coins: In the lake area, most treetops have a gold coin, except one which has a blue coin. Spray the center of trees with nothing on them (while hovering) to make coins appear. Some trees have small blue pokeys or coins.
7. -72: Pokeys in Lake Area: Find six small pokeys in the lake area, including two separated by the river. Spray them into walls for coins.
8. -84: Flower Circles in Lake Area: Find two circles of flowers in the lake area. Spray them all with a spinning spray.
9. -88: Under the Bridge: Get on the tightrope under the bridge to the big windmill. Hold A to monkey around underneath for 4 coins.
10. -99: Rocket Nozzle Coins: Obtain the Rocket Nozzle. Cross the bridge to the big windmill and position yourself under a coin. Rocket up and jump through the next two lines of coins to reach the tightrope maze end.
11. -102: Pokey Coins: Defeat a nearby Pokey. It drops three coins; at least one is usually obtainable even if others fall off.

The final Shine Sprite for this objective appears on a windmill near the white wall, unless the 100th coin was collected in Episode 2's tower or a bonus stage.

Walkthrough: Bianco Hills Blue Coins

Every level has 30 blue coins. Collecting 10 blue coins allows you to trade them for 1 Shine Sprite at the boathouse. Yoshi is helpful for collecting blue coins in this level.

1. #1 Money in the window: In windmill village, go to a house with a balcony and two windows. Spray the windows from the balcony; one gives a gold coin, the other a blue coin.
2. #2 In the air: On the house closest to the house with two towers, get on the wooden board. A blue coin floats in the air; hover to it.
3. #3 M on a house: On the back of the house with two towers, spray the first red M graffiti for a blue coin.
4. #4 In a river: At the start of the river in windmill village, underwater, is a blue coin.
5. #5 M on a wall: On the side of the white path in windmill village, wash off an M graffiti for a blue coin.
6. #6 A house with towers: On the roof of the house with towers, backflip to reach a blue coin inside one of the towers.
7. #7 M atop a wall: Get on a waterwheel fin, then jump to the white wall to find an M. Wash it off for a blue coin.
8. #8 X (1): On the edge of the white wall where #7 was found, face the wall. Wash off an X on the wall. A blue coin will appear in a pit shaped like (|. Fall into the pit to get the coin.
9. #9 X (2): Wash off the X that #8 came out of. A blue coin will appear where you washed off the X for #8. Wall jump out of the pit.
10. #10 A lone ledge: This coin is unavailable in Episodes 1 or 2. From the house with two towers, face the cliff where Petey was in Episode 5. Turn left to find a ledge with a blue coin. Spin jump and hover to it.
11. #11 Near the top of the pole: Near the tall windmill pole, along the pole near the top, is a blue coin. Jump off the top of the windmill and hover to it. Alternatively, in Episode 8, have the chuckster (red female Pianta) throw you to it.
12. #12 Raised platforms on a cliff: On the cliff where Petey was in Episode 5, there are raised platforms.
