Part 17

Complete walkthrough for Super Mario Sunshine Part 17, covering Episode 2: The Beach Cannon's Secret, Episode 3: Red Coins of the Pirate Ships, Episode 4: The Wilted Sunflowers, and Episode 5: The Runaway Ferris Wheel.

Walkthrough:

1. Episode 2: The Beach Cannon's Secret
   • You cannot enter the park. A Monty Mole fires Bullet Bills from a cannon.
   • Black Bullet Bills are normal, purple ones home in, and gold ones give 8 coins.
   • Approach the cannon until the Monty Mole throws bombs. Spray a bomb to turn its eyes blue, then grab it.
   • Throw three bombs back at the Monty Mole to defeat it.
   • Enter the resulting hole, which leads to a bonus stage.
   • Navigate disappearing platforms by waiting for them to reappear and using dives.
   • Collect a 1-up from a ground pound on a crate.
   • Use spring-like platforms to reach higher areas.
   • Carefully cross long strings of disappearing platforms, paying attention to turns and jumps.
   • Reach the end of the bonus stage to find a Shine Sprite.
2. Episode 3: Red Coins of the Pirate Ships
   • Enter the park and follow arrows to the Pirate Ship attraction.
   • Red Coin 1: At the top of the staircase leading to the Pirate Ship.
   • Red Coin 2: On the right side of the first pirate ship as it swings by. Use Spin Jump and hover if needed.
   • Red Coin 3: On the left side of the second pirate ship as it swings by.
   • Red Coin 4: Behind the second Pirate Ship, hover to green scaffolding. Spin Jump to hang from the scaffolding above and collect the coin.
   • Red Coin 5: Get under the red scaffolding of a cage and press A. Flip the red part of the cage by pressing B while hanging from the wall to climb on top and get the coin.
   • Red Coin 6: On the first piece of scaffolding, defeat Electrokoopas by ground pounding on top of them, then flip onto the side they were on to find the coin.
   • Red Coin 7: Go to the other end of the scaffolding, flip with A to get inside another cube. Jump onto the wall, then the ceiling, then flip with A to hang from the scaffolding and collect the coin.
   • Red Coin 8: Get above the wood part (where coin 6 was), drop to the top of the cage with B, then jump atop the scaffolding for the last coin.
   • The Shine Sprite appears nearby.
3. Episode 4: The Wilted Sunflowers
   • This episode takes place on the beach.
   • There are 5 large Yoshi (?) eggs and 5 sunflowers.
   • Spray a Yoshi (?) egg to reveal
