Episode 7: Hold It, Shadow Mario! Shadow Mario is on the loose. Chase and spray him. He is acrobatic, but can be defeated without special nozzles. After he is defeated, he will give you the Shine Sprite. Watch out for the boxing glove.

Episode 8: The Red Coin Fish The younger Noki places a fish bowl on your head and tells you his grandpa is waiting at the top. Jump into the waterfall to be warped to the boss arena. Instead of a boss, you will find a fish made of coins. Collect the 8 red coins scattered within the red coin fish. One coin is the eye, one is the dorsal fin, and two are in the tail. The fish may separate and rejoin. Keep your health high by collecting scattered coins.

Noki Bay Secret Shine: The Shell's Red Coins Pick Episode 6. Make your way to the bonus stage, past the wall jumping and spinning platforms, to reach the red switch. Ground pound the switch to reveal 8 red coins and a 1 minute 30 second time limit.

• Backflip and hover for the first red coin above you.

Backflip and hover for the second red coin, which is at backflipping height above the next platforms.

Use the pole or FLUDD to reach a higher level, then run up the ramp to the flat part. Backflip twice up the ramp to reach the third red coin.

Jump into the area where coin 3 was. You may want to ground pound it.

Reach the level with wall/triangle jumps. Wall jump into the fourth red coin, then hover to the next level. Repeat for the fifth red coin.

The sixth red coin is at backflipping height before the first spinning rectangle. Backflip for it.

Cross the first spinning rectangle to a safe spot. Backflip for the seventh red coin before the second spinning rectangle.

Cross the second spinning rectangle. The eighth red coin is on the safe spot after it.

Noki Bay Secret Shine: Golden Bird of the Bay Pick any shine. Go left of the first wall jumping maze to find a wall jumping section near two puddles. Wall jump between the two walls until you are above or in a doorway. Slide into the doorway. Travel through this doorway as if it were a sewer system. At the other end, backflip into the opening. The floor is a giant spring; spring to the highest point of the level. Look for a golden bird. Spray it three times to make it turn into a Shine Sprite, which appears next to a nearby tree.

100 Coins at Noki Bay Episode 8 has the most coins if the underwater part is included. Episode 6 has the most coins if bonus stages are excluded.

• 50 Coins: Swim through a long coin trail that starts and ends behind you when you begin the level.

71 Coins: Go to The Maze. Wall jump into the nearby wall jumping section and enter the doorway. Follow the path to the other side for 21 coins.

72 Coins: Backflip into the opening to be sprung up to the area with the golden bird. There is a single coin atop the tree.

85 Coins: Go down the wall less close to the ocean to find an alcove with seven brown squares and one open square. Backflip onto the platform sticking out, then drop down partially. Hover to the alcove above where you wall jumped earlier. Ignore the doorway to the right and spray the single brown square to enlarge the wall jumping part of The Maze. Wall jump to the doorway three doorways up and take the path for 13 coins.

96 Coins: Hover back to the brown square that lengthens the wall jumping maze and spray it. Take the doorway four doorways up and go through its passage for 11 more coins.
