    Golden Bird: Find the golden bird flying around an island in the SE corner of the ocean. Spray it until it transforms into a Shine Sprite, which will appear on one of the tall islands near the lighthouse. Swim back and use backflips and hovers to reach it.

    The Town Chuckster: Obtain a coin (from boxes, green birds, sewers, etc.). Go to the Crate Guy's building in the NW area. Use a bouncy umbrella to reach the roof, find the Chuckster, and agree to be flung into a building to get a Shine Sprite. An edit notes that escape is possible by spin jumping into the wall, wall jumping, and hovering to an open window.

    Crate Guy's First Challenge: Enter the building in the NW corner of town. Talk to the Crate Guy and agree to smash 9 crates within 30 seconds using ground pounds. The Shine Sprite will appear inside the building; do not leave until you collect it.

    Crate Guy's Second Challenge: Return to the Crate Guy's building. He now has 10 crates in 4 stacks. Talk to him and agree to smash all crates within 30 seconds. Backflips can help reach the tops of stacks. Collect the Shine Sprite inside the building.

    Pachinko Machine: Go to the central docks. Look for a coin under the archway where the water meets the sea. Jump onto a nearby boat, then jump into the hole in the ceiling above the coin to enter a bonus stage. Navigate the glass-cased level, using springs and wall jumps to collect 8 red coins. The Shine Sprite is obtained by being launched from the middle of a spring onto a nail above it and dropping into the shine. Wall jumping against the glass is possible and helpful.

    Yoshi's Boat & Fruit Adventure: Hatch Yoshi and take him to the central docks. Wait for a boat, jump on with Yoshi, and wait for the boat to approach the NW island. Jump onto the island. Use the single coconut tree on the island to make sure Yoshi doesn't fall off.
