Boss: Venom Lizard (HP: 59127) - Dragon, Beast

Weakness: Earth

Resistance: Wind

The Venom Lizard has a variety of attacks in its arsenal, but almost all are water-based attacks that focus on causing Poison. In addition to Poison Breath (64%), Poison Mist (44%), and Poisonous Break (72%) inflicting poison at a high rate, a successful poison on your allies will result in a +30% Arte Defense boon to its already high defensive stats.

The good news is that the Beast and Dragon category weakness are fairly easy to strike with Velvet's arsenal and her Soaring Dragon hidden arte will strike both the Dragon and earth weakness with a single skill. Once you have a weak point combo started, theronize to extend the combo for even more damage and then finish it off with a Mystic Arte to do some massive damage.

Drops: Terrestrial Glacite

Boss: Harpy Go Lucky (HP: 57810) - Winged, Demihuman, Fiend

Weakness: Fire

Resistance: Water, Earth

The Harpy Go Lucky primarily uses wind-based attacks that cause minor boons and debuffs, except for Tornado and Air Thrust which can cause Fatigue, and although her Defense is fairly low she has a permanent skill buff that reduces all damage by 20. Watch out for her Lightning Kick and Tornado attacks, both of which do significant damage, while striking her multitude of weaknesses.

Drops: Preserver's Glacite

Tips
  • Use Velvet's Soaring Dragon arte to hit both the Dragon and Earth weaknesses of the Venom Lizard.
  • Theronize (a combat mechanic) to extend combos against the Venom Lizard.
  • Finish off the Venom Lizard with a Mystic Arte for massive damage.
