Walkthrough
  1. 1
Enter the area for a scene.
  2. 2
Go east at the fork and open the chest for a Limit Bottle.
  3. 3
Go back to the fork and go north to move on.
  4. 4
A bit of a ways to the north, you will spot a crystal blocking a path leading west. Shoot the crystal and open the chest for a Sephira.
  5. 5
Keep following the path until you find an ice crystal to your north. Break it and open the chest for a Melange Gel.
  6. 6
Continue to the east and break the ice crystals as you go to clear the path.
  7. 7
You will eventually come to a river. Open the chest to the north for a Stun Talisman.
  8. 8
Shoot the large crystal to knock it over and create a bridge.
  9. 9
Cross the river and break the crystal to the north to find two chests containing a Rare Protector and a Cowboy Hat.
  10. 10
Follow the path to the southeast to a scene.
  11. 11

  12. 12
Follow the path southeast to find a Highlander.
  13. 13
Head back to the fork and break the crystal to the northeast to find a Dark Avenger.
  14. 14
Go back to the fork and follow the path north.
  15. 15
    Go north at another fork.
  16. 16
Break the crystal and open the trapped chest. After you beat it, you will get 25000 Gald.
  17. 17
Head back to the previous fork and go northeast. Open the chest here for 2x Lemon Gels and 2x Pineapple Gels.
  18. 18
Continue east at the fork and follow the path until it eventually curves to the south.
  19. 19
Break the crystal in your way and open the three chests for a Spinning Drill Hammer, Strike Eagle, and a hidden chest to the left of the other two for a Sword Whip.
  20. 20
Go back to the north at the fork you ignored.
  21. 21

  24. 24
Whether you fight it or not, continue to the north and break the crystal here revealing chests containing a Basil, Saffron, and a Red Savory.
  25. 25
Head back and follow the path leading to the west until you see a massive beast to the north. Head towards it.
  26. 26
On the way, break the crystal to your right and follow the path for an Orochi +1 and a Longinus.
  27. 27
Return to the main path and continue north.
  28. 28
Open the chest for 3x Life Bottles and a healing save point.
  29. 29
Proceed forward for a boss battle.
  30. 30
After the scene, backtrack all the way out of here to leave.
  31. 31
Fly to the mountainous continent furthest to the southeast on the World Map. Search the middle, eastern end for the mountains for an area that is a hill and not just a flat surface. Land at the base and enter.

Boss: Gusios

Strategy: You want Rita for this fight. No question. Gusios' magic defense is pitiful compared to his physical defense. Turn off all of Rita's Artes except for ones with the element. Raven can hang back and use his wind Artes to take advantage of that weakness as well. As far as Gusios' offense is concerned, he can and will stun your party members frequently, but this is usually an annoyance at worst. What you really need to worry about, is its ability to cast Tidal Wave instantly while in Over Limit. The attack cannot be avoided and will hit your entire party, so this can be very dangerous. The best way to protect yourself against this is to equip any Aqua Capes you have, cook magic defense boosting dishes, and make sure your party's HP is topped off every time he enters Over Limit.

Secret Mission: Knock Gusios down while he is reared back on his hind legs. This should come automatically as your entire party will be wailing on him the entire fight and he rears back quite frequently.
