Walkthrough
- 1After the opening cutscenes, head south to the first save point. Go up the stairs to the left and enter Yuri's room to find an Apple Gel.
- 2Head back outside and continue south. After a scene, go up the ramp and left to find a shop.
- 3It is highly recommended to buy Magic Lenses until you have thirteen. These are used to scan enemies and bosses for a later side quest. Do not sell any equipment, as it is needed for synthesis.
- 4Continue past the shop for another scene, where you will receive the Wonder Log.
- 5Proceed forward for a scene, then go north and left. Approach the mansion for a scene.
- 6Check the plant to the right of the mansion door for a Magic Lens. Go around the left side and check the second window.
- 7After a scene, check the candles for 100 Gald and a Magic Lens. Go upstairs and check the door on the far left.
- 8After a scene, exit the front door to enter your first battle, a combat tutorial. Use a Magic Lens on each enemy. You can either win or lose to continue.
- 9After the scenes in the castle, get an Apple Gel from the back of your cell. Open the cell door and save.
- 10Continue left and retrieve your equipment from a chest. Find a Magic Lens behind the sleeping guard.
- 11Enter the next room for a scene and a battle.
- 12After the battle, head upstairs. Check the boxes to your right for an Orange Gel and in the bottom left for a Holy Bottle.
- 13Go down the middle passage and open the two chests for a Life Bottle and a Cape.
- 14Return and go up the stairs to the left. A scene starts, followed by a battle.
- 15After the battle, go north through the hallway. After another scene, enter the room on the right. Check the fireplace for an Egg. You can restore HP/TP by eating curry in this room.
- 16Return to the main hallway and continue north. Open the chest behind the guard for a Life Bottle.
- 17Continue left and open the chest for an Apple Gel. Save your game.
- 18Continue south and take the first left exit to find a chest with 200 Gald.
- 19Return to the previous hallway and keep heading south until a scene starts. Recover HP/TP by eating curry and save again.
- 20Enter the room for your first boss fight.
Boss Fight: Zagi
- Stats / Weaknesses: See table below. Zagi is weak to Fire and resistant to Water.
- Phases:
- Initial fight against Zagi.
- Fight continues with unexpected backup.
- Strategy:
- Phase 1: Use free run to lure Zagi into missing attacks, then combo him and block immediately to minimize counterattack damage.
- Phase 2: Set your new teammate to keep their distance and only heal. Stand your ground and guard against Zagi's attacks, counterattacking when possible. If Zagi targets your teammate, intercept him. Constant healing should keep you alive.
- Secret Mission: Defeat Zagi while keeping damage to your teammate to a minimum. If your teammate takes too much damage, the mission will fail.
- Monster Book: Use a Magic Lens on Zagi at the start of the fight and again during the second phase.
