Single Battles

The following is an in-depth look at each level of the Singles Battle Arena, detailing what to expect and the rewards.

Thirty Man Melee (3,000 Gald to participate)

• Time Limit: 5 minutes
• Opponents: Knights, various monsters, spellcasters (prioritize these to prevent stuns and heals), Adecor and Boccos at the end.
• Rewards: 6000 Gald, 3x Apple Gels, 3x Orange Gels, 3x Limit Bottles. Unlocks the Fifty Man Melee.

Fifty Man Melee (5,000 Gald to participate)

• Time Limit: 10 minutes
• Opponents: First 30 are the same as Thirty Man Melee. Then aquatic enemies, bears, and humans. Nan appears at 40 opponents (use Magic Lens, prioritize her due to Mystic Arte). Cockatrices can inflict Stone (equip Stone Charm if problematic).
• Rewards: 10,000 Gald, Saffron, Basil, Chamomile, Verbena, Lavender, Sage, Savory. Unlocks the Eighty Man Melee.

Eighty Man Melee (8,000 Gald to participate)

• Time Limit: 15 minutes
• Opponents: First 50 are the same as Fifty Man Melee. Then elemental enemies and humans. Tison appears at 60 opponents (use Magic Lens, prioritize him due to Mystic Arte). Spellcasters appear after 70 enemies. Augusto is the second to last enemy. Clint is the 79th opponent (beware of his instant kill Fatal Strike, prioritize him).
• Rewards: 16,000 Gald, Red Saffron, Red Basil, Red Chamomile, Red Verbena, Red Lavender, Red Savory, Red Sage. Unlocks the Hundred Man Melee.

Hundred Man Melee (10,000 Gald to participate)

• Time Limit: 20 minutes
• Opponents: First 80 are the same as Eighty Man Melee. Then plant enemies and Leviathan's Claw members. Gauche and Droite appear at 89 opponents (focus damage on one at a time, beware of their dual Mystic Arte). Bores, knights, and spellcasters spawn after them. The 100th opponent varies:
• Yuri fights Flynn.
• Flynn fights Yuri.
• Karol fights Nan (use Magic Lens).
• Estelle, Rita, Raven, Judith, Repede, and Patty fight October.
• Rewards: 20,000 Gald per clear. Rewards differ based on the character clearing:
• Yuri: Star Mail, Colossus, Hyper Armor.
• Estelle: 'Magical Maiden' Title, Imperial Guard, Sanctuary, Comet Light, Star Light.
• Karol: Brave Helm, Rendering Drill Hammer.
• Rita: Elemental Goggles, Sacred Chain.
• Raven: Glorious Helm, Celestial Star.
• Judith: Dragon Coat, Cadueus.
• Repede: Aer Fragment, Maximum Dog Symbol.
• Flynn: Radiant Star, General Armor.
• Patty: Pirate Gun (White Wave), Eclipse Circlet.
• Unlocks The Mysterious Two Hundred Man Melee after clearing with three party members.

The Mysterious Two Hundred Man Melee (20,000 Gald to participate)

• Time Limit: 35 minutes
• Opponents: First 100 are the same as Hundred Man Melee. Then generic monsters. The Time Traveler appears at 142 opponents (beware of his strong spells, Over Limit, and fast Mystic Arte spam). More generic enemies spawn after defeating him.
