Learn how to play co-op and enable cross-play in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Get your friends together for the ultimate co-opetition experience!
Hey there! So you wanna jump into Tiny Tina's Wonderlands with your buddies, huh? Awesome choice! It's way more fun with a squad. Let's get you set up so you can start blasting some goblins together.
First off, when you boot up the game, you'll have a choice between Co-operative and Co-opetition. This is pretty important for how loot drops work. If you pick Co-operative, any sweet loot that drops will only be visible to you. But if you go with Co-opetition, everyone in the game will see the loot. This means you'll have to chat with your friends to figure out who needs that legendary shotgun the most. It's all about sharing... or maybe not, depending on how you play!
Now, if your friends are playing on a different system – like if you're on PC and they're on PlayStation, or vice versa – you'll need to turn on cross-play. To do this, just hit the Options button, navigate to the Network and Social tab, and flip the Cross-Play option to 'Yes'. Easy peasy!
Before you can even think about inviting anyone, you've gotta get a little ways into the game. Play through the very first main mission, 'Bunkers and Badasses'. Keep going until you find a chest that's got a Ward inside. Once you equip that Ward, you'll get your shield, and boom – co-op is unlocked!
Once you're ready to invite your pals, press the Start button, then go to Social. You should see your SHiFT Friends listed under the Roster tab. Just click on their name, and you'll see an 'Invite' option. If, for some reason, you don't see your friend's name there, no worries! Click on 'Find SHiFT Friends' and type in their name. If you're looking to team up with people you don't know yet, head over to the Matchmaking tab. You can search for other players who are around your level and jump into a game with them. Happy looting!
