Complete Tomb Raider II The Great Wall walkthrough. Find all 14 pickups and 6 trophies, including the Silver Dragon secret.
Walkthrough
- 1Run forward and enter the water to the right. Swim ahead, then left, pull up, and optionally eliminate the first tiger.
- 2Follow the L-shaped ledge counterclockwise, make two standing jumps across gaps, and pull up onto a square block. Turn around and make a running jump to the next ledge, rotate right, and make a standing jump to the ledge containing Secret #1, the Silver Dragon.
- 3Optionally, eliminate the second tiger below if aiming for all kills.
- 4Turn around and make a standing jump back to the previous ledge. Proceed forward, pulling up three times, then rotate left and make a running jump across the gap. Rotate right and pull up into the opening.
- 5Stand on the grate in the near right corner to drop into the water. Pull out, climb the steps, and make a running jump/grab to the block with the switch. Activate the switch to open the door.
- 6Proceed through the doorway with pistols drawn to eliminate three birds.
- 7(PS1 Remastered specific) Instead of the standard route, go through the opening in the rocks to the right and slide down to the pond.
- 8Swim into the underwater tunnel and collect the Guardhouse Key. Emerge from the water to confront and optionally eliminate a tiger, jumping back into the water if it gets too close.
- 9Use the slimy green rocks to pull yourself back up and use the Guardhouse Key to open the door.
- 10Stand in the doorway to eliminate three spiders, then climb the ladder to eliminate a fourth spider and retrieve the Rusty Key.
- 11Drop back down, open the door, and eliminate four more spiders.
- 12Collect the shotgun shells and the large Medi Pack.
- 13Move the block and slide down the ramp.
- 14(PS1 specific) Drop into the water, turn left, grab the crevice above, and shimmy to the end. Swim under the blades, surface, and rotate left to pull out safely.
Trophy Time -- Crane Dive, 10/10, and 20/10:
- Run clockwise around the perimeter of the area, ending on the roof of the building you just left.
- Proceed to the locked door ahead and stand on the wall to the right. Save your game.
- Execute a running jump, bending it to land on the circled spot on the next ledge.
- Turn the corner, run forward, veer left, and make a standing jump while holding Up on the D-pad to clear a steep section. Save your game.
- From the right front corner of your current rock, rotate 45º clockwise, aiming for the near right corner of the block ahead. Hop back, then walk to the left corner by the wall for maximum running distance. Make a running jump forward, bending it left, to land on the circled portion of the rock ahead.
- From here, make an easy hop to the flat surface below and to the right.
- Follow the wall to the next corner, making drops and jumps while staying to the left to avoid falling. Save your game when you reach the indicated corner.
- Execute a running jump, bending it diagonally right to the upper level.
- Continue towards the Guardhouse, slowing down as you approach. Position Lara at the highest point near the end of the ridge and save. Hop back and make a running jump/grab to the edge of the roof.
- Turn right and walk to the edge of the roof. Line up Lara as indicated.
- Save your game. Hop back and perform a running swan dive (Jump + Up + Walk). Immediately press Roll to make Lara do somersaults. If she lands in the water after two somersaults, you will earn all three Trophies. If not, repeat the process.
Trophy Time -- I'm Not Climbing the Walls for This:
- Make your way across the water to the opening at the other end, avoiding blades flung from the left, right, and perpendicular to your path.
- Use the crevice to the left to shimmy across.
Tips:
- Use the Save-anywhere feature frequently, especially before tricky jumps.
- Pistols are effective against most enemies, including tigers and T-Rexes, from a safe distance.
- Accumulate ammunition from pickups throughout the level.
