Level 04 -- Opera House

Complete Tomb Raider II Opera House walkthrough covering 37 pickups, 7 Trophies, and the final boss battle. Learn shortcuts and strategies.

Walkthrough:

1. From your landing platform, use the Look button to monitor the gunman below. Back up against the sloped block, and when he moves away, run forward to target and defeat him.
2. Dive into the canal and grab the auto pistol clips dropped by the gunman.
3. PS1 Note: The contents of the box below can be skipped.
4. Trophy: Like Father Like Son - Go to the poster across the canal, get as close as possible, and use a Flare to earn this Trophy for shining a light on Gianni Bartoli.
5. Turn your back to the poster, dive into the water, swim right, and turn right. Climb the ladder and dismount onto the ledge to your right. Rotate 180 degrees, walk to the edge, perform a vertical jump/grab, and pull up.
6. Use the switch to the left to open the overhead door.
7. Rotate left, jump/grab the ladder, climb until Lara's feet are level with the top of the next ledge to the right, then backflip off the ladder.
8. Turn around and perform a running jump to the white ledge across the canal. Rotate left and perform a running jump/grab to the platform where you started the level.
9. Jump through the opening you created. A lug with a club awaits.
10. To avoid damage on this jump: Stand on the wooden platform facing the opening. Drop off and hang from the left side. Shimmy as far left as possible and pull up. Rotate Lara so her head is just left of the line between the two arches above the opening. Save your game.
