Complete walkthrough for Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation's Pharos, Temple of Isis level, including item locations and enemy strategies.
Walkthrough
- 1To the west, you'll find a stone wall with two rectangular openings and a closed passage. Swim around nearby to encounter a shark (1); it's best to avoid it.
- 2Enter both openings; the order does not matter. Swim into the one accessible without being attacked by the shark. If you took a breath beforehand, you should have enough air.
- 3Swim forward until you can stand. Place the appropriate artifact (Pharos Pillar or Pharos Knot) into the receptacle. If the shark blocks your exit, you can use exploding ammo, but avoiding it conserves ammunition.
- 4Return to the water, swim into the other hole, and repeat the process.
- 5Inserting the two artifacts opens a door on the sea floor between the rectangular openings.
- 6Swim through the opening and up the watery stairs. Pull out at the top but do not advance yet.
- 7The first royal guard skeleton (2) for the 'Jason's Apprentice' Trophy will rise from the ledge ahead. Equip your shotgun with regular ammo and walk up the left side of the steps. Blast the skeleton into the water behind it to work towards the Trophy.
- 8Jump into the water ahead (west) and swim into a small room with three doors. (NG+2201)
- 9The left and middle doors are dead ends. Swim to the door on the right, press Action to open it, and swim through until you can pull out.
- 10Equip your crossbow with exploding ammo. Run forward and head towards the stairs to the left (south). A golden harpy (3) will fly down the stairs. It can inflict poison, so defeat it quickly with two exploding arrows. (NG+2202)
- 11The four benches in the area are hollow and count as vessels (117-120). Shoot them all and collect 3x red shotgun shells (351-353), 3x blue shotgun shells (354-356), a large medipack (357), and a small medipack (358).
- 12Go up the stairway to the south, enter the room, and proceed south to the statue of Isis. The door will shut behind you. Turn right, pull up onto the square-topped column in the SW corner, Save, and prepare for beetle-dodging.
- 13Use your crowbar to pry the Black Beetle (359) out of the wall, releasing swarms of beetles and raising a block in the middle of the west wall. Perform a backflip with twist to land on the ground, side jump left, run to the SE corner, and pull up onto the column there.
- 14Use your crowbar to pry the Broken Beetle (360) out of the wall, releasing more beetles and raising a block in the middle of the east wall. Perform a backflip with twist to the ground, side jump right, and run diagonally right. Jump onto the block against the west wall and pull up twice to an alcove.
Tips
- This level contains 7 kills, but you can likely achieve 5 by dodging the shark and one special skeleton.
- The level is of moderate length and difficulty, with no overly challenging jumps or time limits, though you will encounter beetle swarms requiring quick action.
- There are no Trophies to be earned directly in this level, but you continue working towards 'Jason's Apprentice' and begin working towards another.
- For the 'Jason's Apprentice' Trophy, you need to drown five royal guard skeletons in water. You will encounter more than five, so focus on those near water.
- In New Game+, this level may feel tougher due to enemies that were previously easier to eliminate. Prior experience with the level will help with jumping sequences and avoiding beetle swarms.
- You can find 3 medipacks: 1 small and 2 large.
