Ch19.The Final Battle

Your ultimate guide to defeating Venom in the final battle of Ultimate Spider-Man. Learn strategies, boss weaknesses, and how to protect Trask and the vital Parker files.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Boss: Venom (final encounter)
• Objective: Protect Trask and the Richard Parker files from Venom.
• Losing Condition: Venom knocks the helicopter off the edge, or you fail to protect Trask/files.
• Key Mechanic: Small attack windows, avoid helicopter blades, and later, spreading fire.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Venom Attacks Helicopter: When Venom is focused on damaging the helicopter, use the opportunity to get close, avoid the spinning chopper blades, and land a combo.
2. Phase 2: Venom Targets You: After your combo, Venom will focus on you. Jump away to create distance. Wait for your Spider-Sense to trigger, indicating an incoming attack, and jump. Try to land near Venom on his side.
3. Phase 3: Combo and Avoidance: Once you land, unleash a combo. Be aware that Venom is significantly faster now. He'll try to grab you and throw you off the building, or into the chopper blades if he's positioned correctly.
4. Phase 4: Spreading Fire: When Venom's health drops to about 1/4th, the burning fuel on the helicopter will start to spread, drastically reducing your movement space. Continue attacking Venom, focusing on the remaining health bar.

Strategy:

• Stay mobile and constantly watch for the helicopter blades. Getting hit by them is a quick way to lose.
• When Venom is attacking the helicopter, it’s your best chance to get in some hits. Don't be afraid to be aggressive here, but be ready to dodge.
• After you land a combo, Venom will target you. Give yourself space by jumping away. The Spider-Sense is your cue to dodge his attacks effectively.
• Landing near Venom after dodging is key to setting up your counter-combos.
• Be extra careful in the final phase when the fire spreads. You'll have less room to maneuver, so precise dodges and attacks are crucial.
• Remember, you're not just fighting Venom; you're protecting Trask and the files. Keep an eye on your surroundings and the objective.
