Unlife Is Strange

After fighting Eliza Mulaney and the McPhersons, you may have a respectable number of XP to spend. For reference, I had >3500XP. Return to Pembroke Hospital, upgrade the Pump-Action Shotgun if you've not done so already, analyse the Thick Rich Blood Sample you found in the Mulaney house and rest. I took a final point in Blood Barrier, bringing me to level 25.

If you've been following the same resting schedule as me, check the now-flourishing plant in your office to unlock the Unlife Is Strange trophy.

Locate Dorothy Fletcher's Theatre

From the Finsbury Gate Hideout, head northwest and follow the street to the end. Turn left and kill the Priwen guards in the area. You'll be outside the Finsbury Theatre but the front door is locked.

Continue around the back of the building, under some wooden scaffolding and then through a gate on your right to emerge in the open market area. Go up the steps and turn right into the yard.

Dash up to the scaffolding and then look up to find another teleport ledge.

Head up there and go into the theatre.

Find Doris Fletcher

Examine the desk across from the window for a Suicide Note.

Follow the passage round and kill the Ill-formed Skal standing in your way. If you go through the door on the right, you can observe Doris Fletcher's histrionics from the balcony.

Continue to follow the passage around to a lounge. Search the table for Old Doris Fletcher's Diary.

Equip yourself for the upcoming boss fight. You'll be fighting a powerful melee enemy so you'll be wanting to use firearms - this is a perfect opportunity to try out the Pump-Action Shotgun. When you're ready to proceed, drop down through the hole in the floor.

Follow the passage all the way down and go through the stage door for a scene followed by a boss fight against Doris Fletcher.

She is armed with a powerful sabre. Dodge her melee attacks and empty your shotgun into her. She will summon Skals which you should eliminate because they poison you and foul up your targeting. Halfway through the fight, she will reveal her mutated arm. The range of this is very long so you need to keep your distance. If she skewers you with it, she will take a large chunk off your health bar. When you defeat her, you will obtain her Remarkable Saber (9/20) and unlock the Death on stage trophy.

You can use the Saber in place of the Hacksaw. It's slightly more damaging but you can't spec it for as much blood drain.

After the scene, you will find yourself back in the green room. Head up the stairs and follow the passage round to a room filled with stage machinery. Search the stool to obtain the New Doris Fletcher's Diary.

Leave through the nearby window and then exit the yard to bring the chapter to a close.
