The Docks

Guide to NPCs in Vampyr's The Docks district, including Sabrina Cavendish, Edwina Cox, Booth Digby, Dyson Delaney, Seymour Fishburn, and Stella Fishburn.

Sabrina Cavendish

Sabrina Cavendish works at the Turquoise Turtle. If you embrace her, you will receive Sabrina's Dagger, the Key of the Pub's Backyard which opens the area to the side of the Turquoise Turtle, and a Small Key which opens a chest there containing 200/-.

Sabrina Cavendish - Hints

• Sabrina has been assaulted by a client once. After eavesdropping on Sabrina and Tom, select "Personal questions" / "Why do you have a gun?" / "You should relax".
• Sabrina is taught by Tom Watts how to use a gun to protect herself. After speaking to Sean Hampton, return to the Turquoise Turtle and eavesdrop on Sabrina and Tom.
• Sabrina believes the Docks are dangerous and feels unsafe there. When you meet her again in Chapter 3, select "Your life in London?" / "About the Docks?".
• Sabrina hides her true feelings about her boss Tom Watts. You obtain this by finding the Torn Off Page of a Diary in a bin outside the Turquoise Turtle.

Edwina Cox

Edwina Cox is the estranged wife of Clay and now de-facto leader of the Wet Boot Boys. If you embrace her, you will receive Edwina's Double-Barrelled, 250/-, and the contents of her stock.

Edwina Cox - Hints

• Edwina does not trust Booth Digby's leadership since he is superstitious. Complete Ghouldiggers and select "Personal questions" / "About Booth's belief in monsters?".
• Edwina and Booth Digby have recently killed a man in retaliation. When speaking to her, select "Your life in London?" / "Tell me about your work?" / "I am not at all interested".
• Edwina suspects Booth Digby to be unfaithful. After learning that they are a couple, speak to her and select "Personal questions" / "Your feelings for Booth Digby?" and something other than "I sense a soft heart".
• Edwina may be in love with Booth Digby, but she is the true leader of the gang. When speaking to Digby, select "Your life in London?" / About this part of town?".

Investigation - Ghouldiggers

This is initiated by following the conversation thread "Your life in London?" / "About this part of town?" / "Thinking of somebody in particular?". To investigate, you need to return the corpse pit where you started the game.

Dyson Delaney

Dyson Delaney is a drunk who can be found in the Turquoise Turtle or nearby. If you embrace him, you will receive the key to his locker in the Night Shelter which contains some White Phosphorus.

Dyson Delaney - Hints

• Dyson has always managed to hide his crime and has never been judged. After completing his investigation, select "How come I sense your guilt?" and something other than "You made a terrible mistake".
• Dyson has been rescued by Sean Hampton after he fell dead drunk in the canal. Read the Folded Paper in Sean Hampton's office in the Night Shelter.
• Dyson is responsible for a bombing attack which killed people by mistake. Complete Tribute to the Victims.
• Dyson was an impassioned and radical anarchist when younger. When speaking to him, select "Personal questions" / "You must have had dreams when younger?" / "Were you an idealist, then?".

Investigation - Tribute to the Victims

When speaking to him, select "Your life in London?" / "Anything you like about this district?" / "No reason at all to rejoice?" and listen to his story to initiate this investigation. You will find the location in Southwark.

Booth Digby

Booth Digby is a high ranking member of the Wet Boot Boys. If you embrace him, you will receive 150/-, Booth's Axe, and a bunch of crafting components.

Booth Digby - Hints

• Booth has already tried to find a job so he could quit the Wet Boot Boys. Read the Cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) Letter in a building north of where Digby hangs around.
• Booth and Edwina Cox have recently killed a man in retaliation. When speaking to Edwina, select "Your life in London?" / "Tell me about your work?" / "I am not at all interested".
• Booth believes in supernatural creatures and events. Read the Warning Note that you find during the Ghouldiggers investigation.
• Booth may be in love with Edwina Cox, but she is the true leader of the gang. When speaking to him, select "Your life in London?" / About this part of town?".

Seymour Fishburn

Seymour Fishburn is the psychopathic son of Stella. If you embrace him, you will receive Seymour's Bludgeon and the key to a trunk in the tunnel where he stores his victims' remains.

Seymour Fishburn - Hints

• Seymour is a habitual murderer. Complete his investigation.
• Seymour's aggressive nature seems contained by his mother. After completing the Simple Token investigation, speak to Stella and select "Your son is a murderer!" / "Why did he confess?".
• Seymour is jealous of his mother's attention for Rufus Kingsberry. Observe Seymour for a few minutes and follow him when he heads up the street. After he goes into Stella Fishburn's house, continue round to the side and eavesdrop on the pair of them.

Investigation - A Simple Token of Filial Love

When speaking to Seymour, select "What is your role around here?" / "Is something bothering you?". You'll find the lost necklace in a sewer tunnel under a nearby pier. Return it to Seymour or Stella Fishburn for 80XP and 40/-.

Stella Fishburn

Stella Fishburn is the kindly mother of Seymour. If you embrace her, you will receive 50/- and the key to her sideboard containing some medical ingredients.

Stella Fishburn - Hints

• Stella refuses to send her son Seymour to his death by denouncing him. After learning that Stella knew about her son's proclivities, select "Why do you protect Seymour?".
• Stella is like a mother to Rufus Kingsberry. When speaking to Rufus, select "Personal questions" / "Are you alone?" and any response.
• Stella seems able to contain her son Seymour's aggressive nature. After completing the Simple Token investigation, speak to Stella and select "Your son is a murderer!" / "Why did he confess?".
• Stella's attention for Rufus Kingsberry exacerbates Seymour's jealousy. Observe Seymour for a few minutes and follow him when he heads up the street. After he goes into Stella Fishburn's house, continue round to the side and eavesdrop on the pair of them.
