Head north from the blocked western route. Take the northeast fork for a shortcut to Whitechapel Street.

Backtrack and head northwest. Kill the two Priwen guards (an Exterminator and a Cadet) attacking an Ekon.

Search the Ekon's body for the lore piece, The Ichor's Threat (20/30). The Exterminator drops Sodium Hydroxide.

Continue north and unlock another shortcut to Whitechapel to the northeast.

Go to the marked location to find a container with Good Handle Part (x3) and Tiny Good Handle part (x3).

Backtrack through the gate and go southwest to emerge in the West End.

Go underneath the scaffolding to your right and defeat the Ekon that attacks you.

Go through the door on your left and speak to Kimura Tadao to complete the investigation.

Find the lore piece, The Heresy of the Pure Blood (21/30), on one of the tables.

Leave the building, cross the courtyard, and search a cabinet in the next building for Pure Water. This allows you to water the plant in your office later.

Backtrack and go right through an archway. Defeat the Ill-Formed Skals, which explode in a poison cloud upon death; dodge away from them.

Look up to see a teleport ledge leading to the Reid Mansion.

Enter your room, which serves as a Hideout, and search the table for a Small Key.

Go into the hall and observe Jonathan's mother, Emelyne Reid.

Leave the mansion and go to the balcony to overhear Emelyne, unlocking a hint.

Return to the mansion and use the Small Key to unlock a door on the landing. Search a table for Aubrey Reid's First Letter, which starts the A Journey to the Past investigation.

Go downstairs and search a dresser in the hall for an Old Letter, unlocking a hint about Avery Cork.

Go through the door on the left to meet Avery Cork. Select dialogue options like "Your life in London?", "How is my mother?", "Does she receive medical care?" to unlock hints for him and Emelyne. Select "Personal questions" / "Leave if you could?" to unlock his final hint. You can ask him about the letter from Jonathan's father.

Return to the area where you rescued Kimura Tadao, continue north to the Temple Garden district, and kill the two Priwen guards.

Enter the Temple Covered Market and kill the Priwen guards inside.

Use the teleport ledge to go up. Kill two more Priwen guards and enter the shop marked "Wakefield Chocolate".

Find the Good Double-barrelled shotgun (5/11) on the floor.

Go to the shop opposite, head downstairs, kill the two Skals, and search their bodies for the final Text in Braille.

Leave the market through the opposite entrance and enter the nearby park.

Turn right up the steps, kill the three Skals, and continue up more steps. Turn right and use the map to find an alcove behind a tree containing a crate.

Search the crate to retrieve Aubrey Reid's Second Letter.

In the west of the park, enter the Temple Sewers. Head down the long staircase and into the tunnel.

Follow the path and drop into the boss chamber to trigger an encounter with Leon Augustin, a level 32 Vulkod.

Defeat Leon Augustin by kiting him around the central pillar and attacking him with your Mace. Avoid his attacks and heal when necessary.

Upon his death, you will receive the lore piece, The Violence of Vulkods (22/30), and a Thick Brisk Blood Sample.

Leave the boss chamber through the door to the east. At an intersection, use the teleport ledge to go up.

Follow the passage. At the top of the stairs, go down a passage to your right to find a dead man's body.

Search the body to find the Soiled Letter, which unlocks a hint about Louise Teasdale and initiates the Like Father, Like Daughter investigation.

Continue to the end of the tunnel to unlock a gate. Backtrack to the intersection.

Go down the eastern tunnel to a control room with valve controls.

Turn the right and middle valves to raise a walkway and unlock a door on your left. Cross the walkway.

Defeat the four Skals that attack you on the other side.

Unlock the gate leading back to the valves and turn all three valves to lower the water.

Go back through the gate you just unlocked and take the stairs down. Dash across to the next tunnel entrance. Head through and go up the stairs.
