Charles Jerome Albright

Charles Albright is a detective investigating disappearances in the West End. If you embrace him, you will receive Charles' Truncheon, a powerful off-hand weapon, and his camera.

Hints:

• Charles believes a homicidal maniac is hiding behind the epidemic. When speaking to him, select "Your life in London?" / "Tell me about the neighbourhood?" / "What killer?".
• Charles does not believe in the death penalty. After reading the article about Charles, speak to him and select "Personal questions" / "Is it true you were reduced in rank?". Do not say that you agree with the death penalty.
• Charles has been reduced in rank for having sent an innocent to the gallows. Read the Newspaper Article found in Aloysius Dawson's mansion.

Charlotte Ashbury

Charlotte Ashbury is Lady Ashbury's adoptive daughter. If you embrace her, you will receive her cross and a key to a box in Lady Ashbury's mansion which contains 100/-.

Hints:

• Charlotte hopes to more efficiently pursue her fight against injustice once she becomes immortal. Having read her diary, select "Personal questions" / "Why do you wish to become a vampire?" when speaking to her.
• Charlotte was raised in Lady Ashbury's orphanage before being adopted by the Lady herself. When speaking to Charlotte, select "Your life in London" / "About your adoption?" / "How did you meet Lady Ashbury?".
• Charlotte is still hoping to become a vampire despite her mother's disagreement. Read the Personal Diary in Lady Ashbury's mansion.
• Charlotte knows a lot about vampires and does not seem to fear them. When speaking to Charlotte, select "Your life in London" / "What do you know about me?".

Investigation - Emily is Missing

This is initiated by selecting "Your life in London" / "What do you do around here?" / "How are the locals reacting?" to learn about Charlotte's missing friend, Emily. With Mesmerise level 4, you are able to explore Emily's house and discover what happened.

Agamemnon Baker

Agamemnon Baker is Vladimir to Pericles' Estragon. If you embrace him, you will receive 21/- and Agamemnon's Broken Watch.

Hints:

• Agamemnon and Pericles Baker are a complete mystery. After unlocking their other hints, speak to Agamemnon and select "Personal questions" / "How long have you been waiting?" / "I don't understand who you are".
• Agamemnon and Pericles Baker have opposing explanations about their current situation. After exhausting Agamemnon's conversation options, speak to Pericles and select Your life in London?" / "What do you do for a living?" / "Why do you want to leave London, then?".
• Agamemnon and Pericles Baker are waiting for something or someone to leave the city. Speak to Agamemnon and select "Your life in London?" / "What are you doing here?".
• Agamemnon and Pericles Baker want to leave the city because they feel something is strange about the situation. Observe the two brothers and eavesdrop on them when they go a to secluded area.

Pericles Baker

Pericles Baker is Estragon to Agamemnon's Vladimir. If you embrace him, you will receive 21/- and Pericles' Broken Watch.

Carina Billow

Carina Billow is a citizen driven mad by the vampire who controls her. If you embrace her, you will receive the key to the locked area behind the Ascalon Club where Carinia went to eat rats. There are a couple of containers you can loot for some blood samples.

Hints:

• Carina's mind has been mentally broken by a powerful vampire. After learning her other hints, speak to her and select "Personal questions" / "Tell me what really happened to you?" ? "He tricked you...".
• Carina is aware of the existence of vampires. Find the Scrawled Notes on the wall of one of the buildings behind the Ascalon Club.
• Carina feels the urge to eat live rats. Observe her activities when she takes herself off to a gated-off location behind the Ascalon Club.
• Carina only has incoherent speech when speaking about what happened to her. When speaking to her, select "Your life in London?" / "What happened to you?" / "Tell me about the voice in your head".

Avery Cork

Avery Cork is the Reid family retainer. If you embrace him, you will receive 350/- and a bunch of medical ingredients.

Hints:

• Avery is the only one who is looking after Emelyne Reid. When speaking to Avery, select "Your life in London?" / "How is my mother?" / "Does she receive medical care?".
• Avery wishes the young Jonathan Reid would take more care of his mother. Having read the Old Letter, select "Personal questions" / "Leave if you could?".
• Avery has been paid to take care of the Reid family until his last breath. Read the Old Letter found on the ground floor of the Reid Mansion.
