Walkthrough
- 1Before heading to the yellow destination marker (your objective), search the corners of the current area for a red chest. Hold Circle (the button used for looting bodies) near it to get some money.
- 2Head towards the marker. Avoid the red circles on the ground, which represent Ezio's enemies, unless you wish to fight them. You can loot defeated enemies. Inspect shops along the way to collect Database files, though you cannot purchase anything yet.
- 3The destination marker is in an area of the town that is still obscured on your minimap (a small map usually displayed in a corner of the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), showing your immediate surroundings). Find a viewpoint (a tall structure you can climb) nearby to reveal the area. Climb the viewpoint and Synchronize (press a button to reveal information about the surrounding area) for a clearer view.
- 4The marker is located in an alley between buildings, with both entrances blocked by enemies. To avoid a fight, climb to the rooftops and drop down on the other side of the blockage.
- 5Talk to the person in the back of the alley.
- 6Return to Giovanni when you are ready.
- 7Speak with the woman sitting on the bench; this is Claudia, Ezio's sister.

- Loot the red chest in the starting area for an early cash bonus.
- Inspect shops to gather Database files for later reference.
- If you wish to fight the enemies, you can do so, but be mindful not to overextend your engagement. Remember to loot them afterwards.
