Practice What You Preach

Learn and master the new assassination techniques in Assassin's Creed II, including Air, Ledge, and Hiding Spot assassinations, and acquire the Double Hidden Blade.

Alright, so you've made it to Leonardo's workshop, which means it's time to kick off the "Practice What You Preach" mission. This one's all about getting you comfortable with some sweet new moves Ezio's picked up. Think of it as your personal training session before the real action starts.

You'll be practicing three main assassination techniques:

• Hiding Spot Assassination: This is where you can vanish into a pile of hay or other hiding spots and take out unsuspecting guards. Super useful for staying undetected!
• Air Assassination: Remember how tricky these could be in the first game? Well, they've made it way smoother this time around. You'll learn to dive down from above for a silent takedown.
• Ledge Assassination: This one lets you grab onto ledges and pull enemies over for a quick, brutal finish. Great for when you're climbing or hanging around rooftops.

Make sure you nail all three. Once you've shown Leonardo you've got the hang of it, head back to him. You'll be rewarded with the Air Assassination skill, the Ledge assassination skill, the Hiding assassination skill, and you'll finally get your hands on the awesome Double Hidden Blade!

After that little training session, the game wants you to find another Glyph. This one's located in Mercato Vecchio, which is conveniently near where your next mission marker will pop up. Head to the north of that marker, hop up onto a rooftop, and whip out your Eagle Vision. You're looking for something near a window and a tapestry on the wall. Once you spot it, scan it to start the puzzle.

This puzzle involves finding specific images. Here’s the breakdown:

• Photo 1: Look for a picture of Vietnam. The Piece of Eden is in the mouth of the bazooka held by a soldier.
• Photo 2: Focus on the soldier's helmet in the background.
• Photo 3: This one's a real stinker – it's tiny and hard to see. It’s just right of center. You need to spot the discrepancy among the soldiers' bayonets.
• Photo 4: Check out the fireball being held by the creature on the right and identify that.

Once you've sorted out all those Glyph puzzles, you can finally head to the mission marker whenever you're ready to move on.
