Alright, so you've got your own ship, the Adrestia! Pretty cool, right? Barnabas wants you to go teach some pirates a lesson and grab his shipment. It's time to learn the basics of naval combat, and this is your first real taste of it.

Walkthrough

First things first, take command of the Adrestia and sail towards the quest marker. That's where you'll find the pirate ships Barnabas mentioned.

Now, here's a pro tip for ship battles: don't just charge straight at them. The best way to deal damage is to sail alongside the enemy ships, getting a clear view of their sides. This is where your archers really shine. If you try to shoot them head-on, most of those arrows are just going to go to waste.

So, position yourself alongside the enemy ship and let your archers do their thing. Keep peppering them with arrows as you get closer.

You've got a couple of options here. You can keep up the arrow barrage, or you can go for a more direct approach: ramming. If you choose to ram, again, aim for the side of the enemy ship for maximum impact.

When you're nice and close, you can also start chucking javelins at the enemy crew. This will chip away at the ship's health and reduce how much damage they can dish out.

To completely finish off a ship, give it a solid ram from the side. This will break it in two, and the best part? You'll get a health boost and automatically loot all their resources, like olive wood and gold. Sweet!

Once you've taken down all three pirate ships, a cutscene will play, and you'll have successfully completed this quest. Good job, Captain!

Tips

Always try to approach enemy ships from the side for the most effective attacks, whether you're using archers or ramming.
Don't forget about your javelins – they're great for weakening the enemy crew before you close in.
Ramming a ship from the side is the most satisfying way to end it, plus you get free loot!
