Tips
- Navigating the Village: To cross the village without Black Bess taking damage, drive east across the map and then south just inside the playable area boundary. The river by the mill should be shallow enough to cross, but watch out for an FT tank.
- Collecting Items: You can leave Black Bess at the start of the level and work through the village on foot. Use anti-tank equipment from weapon crates to weaken or destroy German armor.
- Finding Field Manuals: There are five windmills in this chapter, each containing a collectible behind the millstones on the bottom floor.
- Destroying Beutepanzers: To destroy a captured British Mark V tank (not the smaller FT tank), use Black Bess to duel it. Aim for the rear armor, use cover, and reload. Alternatively, use anti-tank supplies from weapon tents or long-range weapons like the T-Gewehr anti-tank rifle. On Hard difficulty, it took two anti-tank grenades, three rocket gun shots, and one T-Gewehr shot. You can also clear guards and use your repair tool at close range.
- Brightness Setting: If it's too dark in the attic for Field Manual #15, change the game's brightness setting to maximum.
