Carpenter Locations and Uses

Find Carpenter locations in conan exiles. Carpenter Thralls boost weapon crafting speed, durability, damage, and armor penetration.

Carpenters are a type of NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) that can be converted into a Thrall when brought back to your camp. Carpenter Thralls can be placed at any Carpenter’s Bench or Artisan Tables you have, including the upgraded versions. These Carpenters can craft weapons at a faster speed. The weapons will get a boost in durability, damage, armor penetration, and the carry weight will decrease. The higher the tier of Carpenter you have, the more of a bonus each item will have. In addition to this, there are three specialties that T4 Carpenters can have that give more of a boost in their specified field. Builders increase durability, bowmakers increase damage, and Fletchers increase armor penetration.

Once you find a Carpenter, you will need to knock them out so that you can take them back to your camp. Once there, you need to use a Wheel of Pain to break them. This is a long and drawn-out process.

Exiled Lands Carpenter Locations:

The Exiled Lands have several places to find a Carpenter. In fact, when loading up a new map, Carpenters have a chance to be one of the first types of NPCs you run into as they spawn all around the starting area. This is left up to RNG, so even if you are in the right spot, you may need to come back later for them to spawn. Guaranteed spawn locations include The Summoning Place, The Den, and The Dregs.

Isle of Siptah Carpenter Locations:

Like in the Exiled Lands, Carpenters are quite common on the Isle of Siptah. You can find them in the camps around the starting area, making them easy to add to your camp once you unlock the Lesser Wheel of Pain. Guaranteed spawn locations include Accursed Citadel, Riverwatch Keep, and Leyshrine of the Fiends.
