Alright, so you're looking to get your hands on the Doctor unit in Crusader Kings III? This guy's pretty unique, focusing on stunning enemies rather than raw damage. It's a bit of a process, but totally worth it for the crowd control!

First things first, you'll need to have unlocked the Royal City District. Once that's done, make sure you build the Royal School. This is key because later on, someone from the school committee is going to hit you up for donations. You'll need to donate money a total of seven times, in seven separate batches. Keep at it, and after the seventh donation, you'll get word that the kingdom's kids are smarter and one of them has become a brilliant doctor. Plus, a hospital pops up in the Glamour Town district.

Now, here's where the actual recruitment happens. You'll need to hang around the Glamour Town district regularly. Keep an eye out, and eventually, you'll spot the doctor walking out of the hospital. The hospital is that blue building right across from the theatre. Once you see him, just talk to him, and he'll be added to your roster, ready to be summoned whenever you need him.

Just a heads-up, like the Wizard and Steel Knight, there's only one Doctor in the whole game, so don't go looking for extras! While his base health isn't the highest, his real strength lies in his special move: the anaesthetic syringe. When you send him after an enemy, he'll start spraying this anaesthetic. After a bit, he'll rush in and give the target a direct injection, which completely stuns them. This is your golden opportunity to send in your other troops to finish the job without the enemy putting up much of a fight.

Pro-Tip: Because it takes a little while for the Doctor to administer the anaesthetic, make sure the enemy you're targeting isn't already aware of you or your other troops. You don't want them getting reinforcements or attacking while your Doctor is busy. Also, remember that the Doctor can only carry 30 doses of anaesthetic at a time. If you run out, you'll need to head back to your kingdom to restock. Keep that in mind for longer campaigns!
