Ferne's jewels

Discover the locations of all seven precious Kingstones for Ferne in Crusader Kings III. This guide helps you find each gem to complete her collection.

Alright, so Ferne's got this thing for shiny rocks – specifically, seven legendary gems called Kingstones. Once you've rescued her, she'll hit you up with a letter asking for your help to find them. She's super keen on getting them, even dreaming about them!

She'll give you the Jewel Book, which is handy for keeping track of which gems you've already snagged. The best part? Six of these gems show up on your minimap as little blue dots as you explore the village, making them pretty easy to spot. I'll walk you through where I found them, in the order I picked 'em up.

Gem #6: Swataz
This yellow gem is tucked away behind your castle ramparts. Head to the shelter on the right side of the main square outside your castle. Look for a hole in the wall there – it'll lead you to an external path along your moat where you can grab the gem.

Gem #2: Akumamarine
Make your way northwest from the culinary academy in Gourmet Town. You'll find this gem chilling in a corner right by the river.

Gem #3: Plumerald
This one's located at the mine entrance in the northeast section of Miner's Town. It's pretty close to the gate that loops back to the Primetime Kingdom.

Gem #4: Roundmarine
Good news! After you snag the Plumerald, just chat with any of your merchants. They'll give you the Roundmarine as a straightforward gift.

Gem #5: Saffire
You'll need to send one of your guys into the mansions over in Glamour Town. Look for the ones near the bridge that connects back to Grassland Town. The folks living in one of those mansions will hand over the Saffire gem.

Gem #1: Mushmethyst
For this gem, send one of your men into the house situated near the flight of stairs in Soldier Town. It's a simple fetch quest once you know where to look.
