Learn how to develop the Farmland in Crusader Kings III, including building key structures like the Shopping Arcade and Moon Harvest, and understanding its strategic location.

The Farmland is your next big development zone, located just across the river south of Castle Town. It's a flat, grassy area that starts out occupied by some pesky Oniis. You'll need to clear out the tough Onii Man guarding the eastern valley (the Onii Grounds) before you can really get to work here.

Once cleared, this area is perfect for building up your kingdom. The Shopping Arcade goes up on the north end, and the Moon Harvest farmstead will be built in the south. Keep an eye out for Skinny Ray's observatory, perched on a hill east of the Shopping Arcade.

Pro-Tip: Seriously, save up for the Shopping Arcade as fast as you can. The merchants you can train there are amazing for finding extra treasure, and the first few might even give you free gear when you chat with them! The Moon Harvest is also super useful, as some of its buildings let you train farmers, which is key for managing your resources.

Strategically, the Farmland also borders the Onii Kingdom to the south. After you defeat the Onii King, you can use the checkpoint there to sneak back into the valley where you fought him. Think of it as a handy shortcut to the Sunflower Plains.
