Learn how to perform various tasks in Crusader Kings III by activating target mode and sending your subjects to attack or dig.
Walkthrough
- 1Activate target mode by pressing the Z button.
- 2A line of dots will point from your king, indicating your line of sight.
- 3Move Corobo until this line intersects with your intended target.
- 4Targets, such as enemies or holes, are denoted by a heptagon (a seven-sided shape) showing their health.
- 5Once an object is targeted, the edges of its heptagon health gauge will start to glow.
- 6Send your men in by pressing the A button repeatedly.
- 7Subjects will attack enemies or start digging holes if able.
Tips
- The next 5 subjects to be sent out are shown by a row of icons next to the group counter on the lower left corner of the screen (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) - Heads-Up Display).
- The icons represent the job classes of those five people.
- You can sort your team by individual job classes by pressing the down key on the directional pad.
- Subjects of the same job class will be grouped together in the queue, allowing you to send multiple members of the same class at once.
- Press the down key until the desired class is at the front of the queue.
- This is effective for sending only soldiers to fight while keeping other classes safe.
