Starting Class: Knight

Weapons: For the early game, just use any straight sword that feels good. Things get serious once you reach Farron Keep. Head to the Keep Perimeter bonfire. You'll find a couple of Darkwraiths fighting their way through the Ghru on their way to the Abyss Watchers. Keep farming them until you get a Dark Sword to drop. Infuse it with a Heavy Gem initially and upgrade it as much as possible. Once you start focusing on Dexterity, switch the infusion to a Refined Gem.

Armor: Since you'll be keeping your Vitality around 15, you need to stick with light to medium armor. The goal is to stay under 70% Equip Load for a decent roll. If you're feeling brave and want to go for super-fast rolls, you can aim for under 50%, but this build doesn't strictly demand that level of speed. For shields, swap between the Crest Shield, Dragon Crest Shield, and Spirit Tree Crest Shield depending on the elemental damage you're facing.
