Lothric and Lorian

Learn how to defeat Lothric, Younger Prince, Lord of Cinder in Dark Souls III. This guide provides strategies and tips for this challenging boss fight.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Lothric, Younger Prince is weak to lightning and dark damage.
• He is resistant to magic and frost damage.
• He is vulnerable to parries.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Lothric, Younger Prince - Lothric fights alone, using sorceries and a straight sword. He is agile and can teleport.
2. Phase 2: Lorian, Elder Prince - Lorian joins the fight. He uses a greatsword and pyromancies. He is slower but hits harder.
3. Phase 3: Twin Princes - Lothric and Lorian fight together. Lothric will revive Lorian if he falls first. The player must defeat Lothric last to end the fight.

Strategy:

• In Phase 1, focus on dodging Lothric's spells and closing the distance to attack him. Be patient and look for openings.
• In Phase 2, Lorian is more aggressive. Dodge his attacks and counter when possible. Be mindful of his pyromancies.
• In Phase 3, the priority is to kill Lorian first, as Lothric will revive him. Once Lorian is down, focus on Lothric. If Lothric revives Lorian, you will need to defeat Lorian again before focusing on Lothric.
• Using lightning or dark damage weapons can significantly speed up the fight.
• If you are struggling, consider summoning other players or NPCs for assistance.

Notes:

• After defeating the Twin Princes, you can return to the Grand Archives to find Orbeck’s Ashes.
• Orbeck’s Ashes can be given to Yuria in Firelink Shrine for the Morion Blade.
