High Wall of Lothric

Alright, let's get you through the High Wall of Lothric. This area can be a bit tricky with ambushes, so stay sharp!

First things first, when you open the doors and head down the stairs, you'll find your first bonfire. Take a moment to rest up. You'll see two paths branching off. We're going to take the one on the right first, as it's a dead end but worth exploring for some early souls.

Look for a crack in the wall. Inside, you'll find a Hollow Soldier with a crossbow waiting for you on a wooden platform. Take him out, and then head back out.

Now, open the main doors to the High Wall of Lothric itself. As you enter, check the broken wall on your left – there's another enemy lurking there.

The area below has a bunch of praying Hollow Soldiers. They won't attack you, so they're easy targets for some quick soul farming. Just be careful, because there are also two Starved Hounds down there. Try your best to lure them out one at a time. Getting surrounded by both is a recipe for disaster. Once they're dealt with, you'll face your first real challenge: a big Hollow Soldier wielding a Halberd. He hits hard, so be ready to dodge.

Keep an eye on your back after you defeat the Halberd soldier! Another Large Hollow Soldier, this one with a Greataxe, will come charging down the stairs. If you're taking too long with the first guy, this surprise attack can really mess you up. Once you've dealt with both of them, head down those stairs. You'll find a Soul of a Deserted Corpse and another basic Hollow Soldier chilling against the wall. Grab the item and finish off the soldier.

After you've cleared out the Large Hollow Soldiers and grabbed that item downstairs, head back up the stairs. We're going to take the other path now.
