Alright, so you've just woken up in the Cemetery of Ash. Don't worry, it's a bit bleak, but we'll get through this together. You're an Unkindled, basically ash, and the world's ending. Your job? Find the Lords of Cinder and re-link the First Flame. Sounds simple enough, right? Let's get started.
Walkthrough
- 1You'll start near a bonfire. Head back up towards it, but this time, take the path to the right instead of going directly to the bonfire. You're looking for a lower section with an item sitting on a stone coffin.
- 2You'll need to make a dash and a jump to reach the top of that coffin. Once you're up there, grab the Titanite Shard.
- 3After snagging the shard, drop down and you'll find a Grave Warden. You can actually take him down with your crossbow before he even gets close.
- 4There's one more Grave Warden just before the boss area. Take him out with the crossbow too.
- 5Finally, you'll see the coiled sword sticking out of a chest. Pull it out – that's your cue to face the first boss.
Tips
- That dash and jump to the coffin can be a little tricky. Don't get discouraged if you miss it the first time; just try again.
- Using the crossbow on the Grave Wardens is a great way to conserve your health early on. Make sure you have a few bolts!
