Vordt of the Boreal Valley

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weaknesses: Vordt is particularly weak to Dark damage and is also susceptible to bleeding.
• Resistances: He is resistant to Frost and Bleed buildup.
• HP: Approximately 2700 (this can vary slightly).

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Vordt uses a large greathammer for slow, sweeping attacks and a frontal frost breath. His movements are relatively predictable.
2. Phase 2: At around 50% HP, Vordt becomes more aggressive. He gains a frost-infused charge attack where he lunges across the arena multiple times and his greathammer attacks become faster and cover a wider area.

Strategy:

• Stay close to Vordt's rear. His attacks are mostly frontal, so attacking his hind legs will keep you relatively safe.
• When he uses his frost breath, back away or get behind him quickly.
• In Phase 2, his charge attack is his most dangerous move. Dodge *into* his charges, aiming to end up behind him. The timing can be tricky, but it's your best opening to deal damage.
• Don't get greedy. Hit him a couple of times and be ready to dodge. It's better to play it safe and chip away at his health.
• If you're struggling, consider using a weapon with Dark damage or applying a Dark Gem to your weapon if you have one. Items that cause bleed can also be effective if you can build up the meter.
