Part 20

Walkthrough for Part 20 of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, covering levels Frantic Fields and Scorching Torch, with collectible locations and strategies.

Walkthrough:

Frantic Fields

1. Use tuff tucks to carry a character to a wooden wall to open a bonus area for a puzzle piece. Use flower platforms to reach the Kong barrel at the top-left.
2. Ground-pound the wooden platform to reach checkpoint #1.
3. Continue to the next flower platform. Run down to grab bananas while the path is clear of spiky fruit, then jump back up.
4. Pull the handle on the ground to collect bananas and get a puzzle piece.
5. Roll-jump under the stone platform to grab the Dixie barrel. Use Dixie's helicopter spin to reach the top of the stone platform for a puzzle piece.
6. Grab the 'N' above a hot hootz after a barrel cannon by sliding down the vine.
7. Reach checkpoint #2.
8. Defeat the buffaloafer by luring it into a wall and jumping on its belly three times to collect items and use a handle.
9. Jump on flower platforms in front of waterfalls as banana bunches descend to collect them all for a puzzle piece. Consider Cranky for some items.
10. Ground-pound a bulb flower under a stone platform for bananas and a puzzle piece.
11. After blasting into the background, run right away from rolling fruit, collecting items for a puzzle piece on a climbable wall. Prioritize the puzzle piece over the 'G' at the end of the section.

Scorching Torch

1. Tornados provide upward boosts. Use them to collect items at the beginning.
2. Ground-pound the left side of the wooden platform under the second tornado to enter an area with a Diddy barrel.
3. Break open a Rambi crate, backtrack to the Rambi stone, and break it to unearth a bonus area for a puzzle piece.
4. Continue with Rambi. Break the Rambi stone at the bottom of the stage for banana coins and a puzzle piece.
5. Use a tornado's lift to get the 'K' over the cacti.
6. A bulb flower will start lightning. Watch for blue streaks.
7. Jump to the 'O' floating above a wooden platform when it's at its highest.
8. Reach checkpoint #1.
9. Watch out for pointy tucks and burning porcupals thrown from the background.
10. Pull the handle on the hill between enemy attacks to get a puzzle piece.
11. After the next Diddy barrel, jump to grab the flying 'N' before it gets whisked away.
12. After a barrel cannon, run from a gigantic tornado over rickety platforms.
13. Use a barrel cannon to reach checkpoint #2.
14. Jump left to a Rambi crate and a puzzle piece.
15. Use a blast barrel overhead to reach a bonus area for a puzzle piece. Watch for a buffaloafer on a grassy platform.
16. If Rambi is kept to the end, navigate cacti for the 'G'. Otherwise, use roll-jump or ponytail twirl, or take a hit.
17. Dodge lightning strikes and wait for the platform in front of the slot barrel to come down to finish the level. Hit the slot barrel before lightning strikes.
