Hey there! Ready to tackle the Irate Eight? This watery stage in Sea Breeze Cove can be a bit tricky, but I'll walk you through it. Let's dive in! ## Overview Irate Eight is the fourth level in the Sea Breeze Cove world. It's known for being the domain of the mini-boss, Squiddicus. You'll find 2 Bonus Stages and 5 Puzzle Pieces hidden within this level. Keep an eye out for the Secret Exit too! ## Walkthrough We're starting off in an underground cave. As soon as you enter, watch out! Those stick-like things will fall over. Go right, and you'll see some spikes. Above those spikes is a platform with a chest containing 1 Banana Coin. See that vine? Climb up it, and you'll find your first Bonus Stage! Inside, you'll find 1 Banana Coin, 100 bananas, and 1 Balloon. Nice! Now, head back down the vine. You'll enter an underwater section. Be careful, there are spikes on the top and bottom. You'll also find 2 Banana bunches, each with 10 Bananas. After that, you'll need to navigate past 3 mines. Try not to hit them! Just below these mines, hidden in some vegetation, are 3 Bananas. After the mines, more spikes await. Grab the oxygen bubble nearby, and then you'll see 5 Bananas and a chain you need to break. Next up is another mine, this one with 2 Bananas and a Banana Coin trailing it. You'll also spot a Barrel with Dixie Kong's icon on it, and 2 blue Finleys. Look around the vegetation in this area; there are more Bananas hidden there. If you go up past the 4 mines (once they're destroyed, of course!), you'll find a room packed with Banana bunches. You'll collect a total of 40 bananas here, and more importantly, you'll reveal the second Puzzle Piece! Keep going, and you'll find the 'K' for the K-O-N-G letters, guarded by 2 circling mines. As you move forward, you'll hear an eruption – that's Squiddicus making his presence known! Look for some vegetation nearby; it hides 2 Bananas and 1 heart. Underneath that is a chest holding a flying Banana. After you get past 3 Mama Saws, you'll reach an air duct that shoots mines at you. Watch out for the spikes at the beginning of this section too! Here's a tricky part: you'll see 2 mines above, 1 below, and 5 Bananas below. Then, 2 mines below and a Banana bunch, followed by 2 mines above, all trailed by a Banana Coin. Finally, there are mines that split upwards and downwards, forcing you to go through the middle. Take your time here! After that, you'll find some more vegetation, an air bubble, and a Checkpoint. Phew! Now, be ready for spikes above and below, and 8 Bananas. You'll need to go deeper, and some spikes will start falling. Keep your eyes peeled! Next, you'll see a wall with a DK Barrel featuring Dixie Kong. Smash it! This is where Squiddicus appears, and you'll have to swim upwards, dodging his ink. You'll find a tight crevice with 3 bananas and spikes on the left. Above this, you'll see bubbles, a clam shell chest, and Squiddicus' tentacle. There's also 1 Banana Coin and a large Banana bunch here. Past this, you'll find 4 Bananas and 2 tentacles, plus another chain to break. After the chain, there are spike patches on the left and right, with a tentacle on the left and a bigger patch on the right. Look below that big right patch – there's a secret room! Inside, you'll find another Puzzle Piece and 40 Bananas. Don't miss it! Soon, you'll encounter 3 falling pillars with spikes. Two are rectangular, and one is square in the middle. Just before these, to the right, is one Banana Coin. After the pillars, you'll face another square spike patch and a rectangular one. Then, you'll reach a Launch Barrel. It'll shoot you upwards, almost into 3 mines. Head to the right...
