KONG Letters:

  • K: Soon after the first puzzle piece, the K will be near the bottom of the cave.
  • O: Up ahead, after the first checkpoint, there are three snowball cannons; the O is in the middle of a line of bananas past the third.
  • N: Just ahead of the fifth puzzle piece, the N will be in between two stalactites at the top of the cave.
  • G: Trails of bananas will snake through the passageways after the second checkpoint; the last of them will have the G in it.
  • K: Make your way back up to the top path by ground-pounding the spring platform on the left. The K is just a jump away to the right.
  • O: As you continue forward, you will make your way to a giant, rolling climbable surface. Stay on the front side of it to collect the items, including the O just above the track.
  • N: Continue all the way forward to the end of this section. Past the chum chucker Charlie, you will need to jump off the vine, off the hootz to the climbable platform to the right. Spring to the next platform when the blue hootz has passed, then wait for the N to pop up before springing to the barrel cannon.
  • G: Once you reach the section with the wooden platforms, enormous snowflakes will start to fall, crushing the platforms as you cross them. You will see the G ahead; roll-jump underneath the platform to claim it.
Tips
  • In Part 36, after the first long dip downward, follow each rotating circle of bananas in the opposite direction it's spinning to collect them all.
  • In Part 36, after the third snowball, a trail of bananas will lead you upward; grab the whole set to earn a puzzle piece.
  • In Part 36, after the second checkpoint, you will blast yourself into a giant snowball (which the game apparently considers a mine cart). While inside, you will break through pretty much everything you hit, including wooden floors. Make sure you jump at the appropriate times to reach the slot barrel.
