This is the first ice level in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, featuring slippery physics. You'll need to slide under spikes and other obstacles. Watch your speed carefully.

Walkthrough

Continue forward until you see stacked frozen juice cubes. Ground-pound the ice cubes in the middle of the platform just past them to enter a bonus area. Collect all bananas for a puzzle piece.

Just ahead, slide under moving spikes. Use the bouncy fruit to jump left onto the platform to grab the 'K'.

After being launched right by bouncy fruit, duck under spikes and ground-pound the ice block with a handle. Pull the handle to release a flying banana, then collect the subsequent bananas for a puzzle piece.

Checkpoint #1.

The popsicle platforms in the background will slide off their sticks. To get the 'O', slide down the second popsicle, then jump to the third before it falls.

Grab the trigger vine above to summon a popsicle platform. Slide down it, then roll into the hidden area beneath the next platform to find a puzzle piece.

Checkpoint #2.

In the next area, slide and bounce around. When between stacks of frozen juice blocks, stop and bounce off a hootz at the peak of its path to reach the 'N'.

After going under a corridor of spikes, don't ground-pound the bouncy fruit. Instead, jump through the wall near the lantern and drop into the barrel cannon below. Fire when directly under the puzzle piece to collect it, then return through the wall.

In the next section with ceiling spikes, run through while they are retracted, then jump over the gap to grab the 'G'.

Climb juice blocks to reach a slot barrel. Roll-jump past it to a barely visible platform on the right. Drop down the hole for a puzzle piece, then bounce back up.

Beehive Brawl

Puzzle Pieces: 7

To enter this level, you must have found the secret exit in Fruity Factory.

If you don't have Cranky, buy a Cranky barrel or get him from another level. Cane pogo left to a trigger vine. Collect all appearing bananas for a puzzle piece.
Continue right by jumping between climbable surfaces. Ascend the slowly dropping platforms in the honey, then ground-pound the wooden floor to drop through.
The 'K' is at the top of the first climbable surface. Jump to it at its apex to grab it.
Jump left from the second climbable surface to find a bonus area. .
Checkpoint #1.
Jump to the next swinging climbable surface. At the other end, jump to the next platform.
After re-entering the hive, jump to the climbable ceiling and follow it left for a puzzle piece.
To get the 'O', jump to the platform with the boom bird. Use the bomb to defeat the chomp, then roll-jump across the gap.
Blast to Checkpoint #2.
Climb the wall left to find a bonus area. .
Grab fuzzy fruit carried by buzzies to cross the gap. Ground-pound to make the buzzy fly higher and avoid obstacles.
On the other side, run through the low wall under the Kong barrel to reveal a hidden area with a puzzle piece.
The 'N' is in the middle of the next large gap. Grab the fruit, then fly the buzzy using ground-pounds to grab the 'N'.
Checkpoint #3.
Grab the climbable surface ahead; it will swing right. Jump off the top to reach a barrel cannon. After several blasts, you'll collect a puzzle piece.
Jump back to the swinging surface, then to the middle platform, then to another swinging platform. Swing left and ground-pound the purple flower to collect the appearing bananas for a puzzle piece.
Jump back to the swinging surface, then right to the next surface, which will snap off and bounce across spiky platforms. Position yourself carefully.
At the end, the surface sticks to honey. Jump off to grab the 'G' in the gap between two surfaces.
