    After defeating the Flamethrowers and the Tiger, use the Holy Embers on the evil flame to make it vanish.

    Return to Porthtrunnel and agree to join Torneko on his newly purchased ship. Mary Lou will also join.

    Sail south and disembark when you reach land.

    Add Torneko to your battle lineup in the "Misc." menu, replacing Hoffman.

    Walk east to the village of Mintos.

    Enter the eastmost house and take the [SCALE SHIELD].

    Jump into the well to find [MINI MEDAL #8] on the ground.

    During the daytime, talk to the old man lecturing in the village center. Answer "No" to his first question and agree to take his test. When asked about the most important thing in business, say nothing. He will give you a [TREASURE MAP].

    Pick up the [SEED OF RESILIENCE] from the barrels outside the house south of the old man.

    Shop for equipment: Recommend [IRON HELMS] and [CAUTERY SWORDS] for the Hero and Torneko, an [IRON APRON] for Torneko, an [IRON SHIELD] for Meena, and a [GOLDEN TIARA] for Maya. If short on gold, fight monsters on the world map.

    Save your game and leave Mintos, heading towards the forest shrine east of the village to search for Kiryl's cure.

    At the Forest Shrine, hug the western wall and walk north to find a hole in the northern wall. Enter it to find [MINI MEDAL #9].

  • The treasure map obtained in Mintos marks a spot with a great treasure, but it cannot be accessed yet.
  • If you need gold for equipment, defeating monsters on the world map is a reliable method.
