    In the Royal Crypt, follow the path, hugging the wall to avoid arrow pads on the floor, to find a chest containing MINI MEDAL #32.

    Sprint south and make your way to the stairs in the southeastern part of the area.

    Head upstairs and open the yellow doors above you to find a healing sphere. Step into it to restore your stats.

    Head south, past the arrow pads, and walk to the southwestern part of the room.

    Follow the stairs upwards to a new room.

    You will return to the first main room in the northwestern end. Follow the path left, then down, and down again to find a chest containing the MOD ROD.

    Exit the Crypt by going east.

    Travel to the southern end of the world map near Riverton. Use your ship to sail south out of Riverton.

    Locate the strange building resembling a sad animal statue, which is the Colossus. Open the metal gate and enter.

    Head up the stairs in the southwestern part of the labyrinth. Ignore the two black doors on the next floor and go up the stairs to their right.

    In the new labyrinth, go through the door directly south of the stairs to reach the Colossus's hands.

    Find a chest containing HELA'S HAMMER on the Colossus's hands.

    Head back inside the Colossus and go one floor downstairs to the floor with the two black doors.

    Find a hidden door northeast of the ignored black doors and go up the stairs within.

    See the treasure chest on your right next to some stairs; this is a mimic. Go up the stairs next to it.

    On the upper floor, head out the westmost door leading south. You will fall onto the Colossus's left hand.

    Go back inside from the left hand and keep walking up the stairs until you reach the very top floor.

    Pull the golden lever. A (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) will play as the Colossus begins to walk.

    When you regain control, jump out of the opening in the eastern part of the room (the Colossus's ear) to land on the southern side of a river on the world map.
Tips
  • The Mod Rod allows you to turn into other beings and will be needed later to fool monsters at Diabolic Hall.
  • If you like optional events, travel to Rosehill Village. Use your Flute of Revelation while standing on the square outside the village tower to go underground to a path leading to a girl named Rose. Kill her guard to get a SPHERE OF SILENCE, then talk to Rose. She will ask you to kill Psaro for her. Speak to her slime friend to learn that the Mod Rod can be used to fool monsters at Diabolic Hall.
  • Hela's Hammer is a strange weapon that misses often but is very powerful when it hits.
  • Be careful when navigating the Colossus's interior; falling through the wrong opening can lead to undesirable places.
