Dragon Quest IV Part 50 covers key items like the Armlet of Transmutation, Thief's Key, and how Torneko earns money.

Armlet of Transmutation

The Armlet of Transmutation is Vrenor Town's biggest treasure, kept safe in the cave known as "Vault of Vrenor", south of town. A gang of kidnappers wants the armlet in return for releasing a girl they've taken hostage.

Thief's Key

This is a special key that can be used to open all BLUE doors in the entire world of Dragon Quest IV. Alena receives it in Chapter II, after handing the Armlet of Transmutation over to the kidnappers in Vrenor Town.

Birdsong Nectar

Alena's daddy loses his voice during Chapter II. His daughter finds him some of this nectar, and the Tsar's voice returns!

Salary / Earnings

At the beginning of Chapter III, Torneko will receive salary at the end of the day, after working at the shop in Lakanaba Village. The salary is always about 1/10 of the total earnings Torneko has made off of selling stuff at the shop. At the end of Chapter III, when Torneko has his very own shop, you will earn much, much more; about twice as much as the items you sell are really worth. Talk to Torneko's wife in order to put items up for sale and collect your earnings.

Prince's Letter

The Prince of Ballymoral Castle is in love with the Princess of Endor, and gives Torneko a letter when the two of them meet during night. Torneko has to take the letter to the Princess.

Royal Scroll

A letter from the King of Endor to the King of Ballymoral. The letter was written in order to maintain peace between the two nations, and to let the prince and princess marry each other!

Steel Strongbox

Normally when you die, you lose 50% of the gold you are carrying. If you have this box however, you won't lose a Dime! Or Zenny! During Chapter III, that is.

Silver Goddess Statue

This statue is found in a cave northeast of Endor. An old man in Endor buys it from Torneko for a whoopin' 25,000 Coins. During a "normal" playthrough, these coins are what makes it possible to get Torneko his own shop.

Night Light

An item found at the place Oojam joins your party during Chapter IV. By using it, you can switch between day and night whenever you feel like doing so.
