Walkthrough

    Before proceeding, ensure your party members are around Level 20. It is highly recommended to include Meena in your lineup for her 'Zing' spell, which can resurrect fallen allies. Meena learns 'Zing' at Level 20.

    With the Magic Key, return to the castle where Ragnar is held captive.

    Open the rightmost castle gate and proceed to the northern end of the first floor.

    Ragnar will be attempting to open a secret passage. Break down the door and follow him into the King's chamber.

    Talk to the King to initiate the boss battle. He will transform into a blue lion when you approach.

    After defeating Marquis de Leon, speak with Ragnar to have him join your party.

    Before leaving the castle, speak with the Chancellor to learn that Balzack has taken residence in Zamoksva Castle.

Treasures and Mini Medals:

  • Strathbaile Prison: One Mini Medal (MINI MEDAL #52) is available if you have the Ultimate Key.
  • Ballymoral Prison: Another Mini Medal (MINI MEDAL #53) can be found in a barrel in one of the southwestern cells.
  • Burland Castle Treasury: After entering the castle, head left to find a treasury locked with a blue door. Heal your party before entering, as the floor will cause HP loss. Inside, you will find six chests containing: a [SEED OF LIFE], [MINI MEDAL #15], [IRON HELM], [750 GOLD], [SEED OF STRENGTH], and a [SEED OF AGILITY]. It is advised to feed the seeds to your hero and sell the helmet as your equipment should be superior by this point.

Boss Fight: Marquis de Leon

  • Party: Hero, Torneko, Meena, Alena
  • Recommended Level: 20
  • Difficulty: Medium+
  • Drops: [FULL PLATE ARMOR]
  • Strategy: Ensure your party is not underleveled, as the boss has a large HP pool. Meena should be the primary healer, focusing on the party member with the lowest HP each turn, as the boss attacks twice per turn. Other party members should focus on normal attacks. If the boss uses Ice Breath, the Hero may also need to heal in addition to attacking. Use Meena's 'Zing' spell to resurrect fallen allies.
