Hey there! So, you're heading towards that tower, huh? Before you get there, let's talk about the enemies you'll be running into. The best advice I can give you is to equip your Boomerang. Seriously, it's a lifesaver for clearing out groups of monsters quickly. If you've got Sap learned, using it on a whole group before you start swinging can make things even smoother, but keep an eye on your MP – you'll definitely need it inside the tower later on.

You should be around level 8 by now, which means you've probably picked up the Zoom spell. This is super handy for getting back to places like Weaver's Peak, Somnia, and Haggleton instantly. Also, make sure your Hero is rocking the Scale armor and shield; they're great for taking hits from some of the mini-bosses you'll encounter.

To find the tower, head south from town and then make a turn east. Quick heads-up: if you wander around the north side of the lake and then go down the eastern edge, you'll find Murdow's fortress, the Underkeep. You can't go in there yet, though, so don't worry about it for now. Keep heading south along that narrow strip of land between the water. You'll cross a couple of small bridges to the west, and just a bit further south from the second bridge is the tower you're looking for.

WARNING! Pay close attention here: if you leave the Tower before you've finished exploring and completing the challenge, you'll miss out on some really nice accessories. Also, there's a Gold Ring you need to grab before fighting the boss. If you don't get it now, you can still find it later from a monster, but it's way easier to snag it here. Don't stress too much if you fail the boss fight itself; the game will still move forward with only minor changes.
