Tips
- Cacto Cove is located off the beaten path; speak to the ferryman at the south end of Al Maajik Outskirts to reach it.
- Melusine, a Mercenary colleague, can be found in Cacto Cove.
- Flowering Cactos (pink) appear rarely. To increase their spawn rate, repeatedly enter and exit the nearby Cave of Shadows.
- To perform Tornado Shot, press the A button towards the end of the Cross-Cut animation. A successful execution results in a tornado moving away from you.
- The Killer Bear is a relatively easy fight. The Desert Tyrant is more challenging. It is recommended to bring Odin and one other ally.
- The Desert Tyrant fights similarly to the Silverfang. Staying close can help avoid its bite and fire breath.
- Be wary of the Desert Tyrant's tail swipe, which can knock you back before a fire breath attack. Try running towards the tyrant instead of away from the fire.
- The Desert Tyrant fight takes place in a small area near a zone entrance, which can be used to trap the boss in a corner.
