Follow this guide to defeat the Darkzine, the mythical beast trio (Blazilion, Aqualion, Gustilion), and the Crystal Dragon in Fantasy Life's Trial of Light (Part 3).
Walkthrough
- 19th Floor: Your objective is to defeat the Darkzine located to the far south. This floor primarily features elemental wisps and boss variants.
- 210th Floor: Prepare for a challenging fight against the mythical beast trio: Blazilion, Aqualion, and Gustilion. Each boss shares similar attack patterns.
- 311th Floor: This floor is a brief respite. Make any necessary preparations, shake apple trees, and save your game before proceeding to the final boss.
- 412th Floor: The final boss is the Crystal Dragon, a powerful Napdragon variant.
Tips
- General Defense: Equip armor with high Magic Defense and/or elemental resistances to mitigate damage from elemental attacks throughout these floors.
- 9th Floor Wisps: Their regular attack is a ball of elemental magic. They may also surround themselves with damaging elemental magic and stomp forward, creating a splash effect.
- 10th Floor Beasts: Watch for quick bites forward, jumps back followed by short pounces, and a long-distance charge after a roar. They also launch elemental attacks (fire, water, or wind) forward. Try to fight them one at a time if possible, as facing all three simultaneously is extremely difficult.
- 12th Floor Crystal Dragon: Its attacks include a jaw chomp with light-element effect, wing flaps creating damaging light sparkles, and a massive beam of light after pulling its head back.
- Crystal Dragon (Half HP): It will roar, creating shockwaves that interrupt your moves. Disarm your weapon to signal allies to stop attacking, then run in a circle to avoid its subsequent stampede and laser beams. Hunters or allies like Fern can attempt to inflict Stun to interrupt this.
- Crystal Dragon (Late Fight): Be aware of its tail swipe attack followed by a jaw chomp. Avoid re-engaging if hit by the tail swipe.
- Crystal Dragon Strategy: Due to the small arena and large dragon, focus attacks on its back or sides while allies distract it to avoid its jaw chomp and beam attacks.
