Alright, so you've stumbled upon the 'Cargo Dump' side mission in Far Cry 3. It's a bit of a weird one, involving aliens and their... well, their cargo. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. You'll start this mission by chatting with a guy holed up in a shack. You can find him at coordinates X: 704.7, Y: 678.0. He's convinced aliens have nabbed his daughter and wants you to scan some of their packages to get her back. Sounds crazy, right? Just grab the scanner he gives you and head to the accident site marked on your map.

Once you reach the site, the game will give you a quick rundown on how to use the scanner. Basically, it'll beep faster the closer you get, and the light will turn solid when you're pointing right at a package. For the first one, just peek over the hill – it's down at the bottom. Pull out your camera and snap a pic of each package you find.

After you've scanned the first package, follow the path until you hit a wrecked truck. Keep an eye out, there might be a bear hanging around there, so take it out if you need to. The next package is chilling in a tree to the left of the wreckage. For the third package, you'll need to head across the water to a big red shipping container. Shoot the lock off the side that's submerged in the water, and you'll find the package inside.

Keep following the river. You'll find the fourth package near some small crates, specifically to the right of the stacked ones, next to a flat rock. For the final package, head to the last marker on your map. You'll need to jump off the waterfall and land on the shore behind you. Follow the rocks to your left, and you'll find some ropes. Use those to get behind the waterfall where the last package is waiting on a ledge.
